La note serait parfaite sans le dessert. Nous avons pris le dessert du jour, un baba au rhum & fleur d'oranger, qui n'avait rien du baba au rhum. Aucun goût de rhum.
Le reste était délicieux.
I love their take-out. It includes paté with toasts, soup, main course with vegetables & dessert. I especially love the lamb & the chocolate dessert really is to die for :-).

Délicieux ! Mais il est dommage qu'il n'y ait plus de menu 'Table d'hôte' où il y a moins de plats & c'est moins cher. Le menu actuel n'offre que la table gourmande (soupe ou salade, entrée, plat principal & dessert) & je n'ai pas l'appétit pour manger tout cela & c'est dispendieux. S'il réoffrait les tables d'hôtes (soupe ou salade, plat principal, café ou thé/tisane) cela me permettrait d'y aller plus souvent. Dans l'état actuel, ce ne sera que pour de rares occasions.
A Very Nice BYOB French Restaurant . Decent Food no Complaints with some Nice Appetizers that I have Never seen Before & Nice Desserts! Love the Flat Water Really Nice when Chilled!
Je suis allée avec ma famille qui visitait Montréal & je voulais leur amener dans un restaurant français. Le Pégase a été courtois & nous avons eu un service exceptionnel!! J'ai adoré, nous étions 5, donc nous avons tous goûté un peu & tout est tellement délicieux!! Surtout l'agneau & le dessert du jou
We did not enjoy the ambience on the patio, the tables were wobbly. The plastic curtains made the patio stuffy. The lobster roll was soggy & did not taste good. I had the Arctic char which was over cooked & served with a sad salad of beans & quinoa. Very salty. My dining companion had the rack of lamb, overcooked & served with uninspired vegetables that you could find in the frozen section of the grocery. Dessert was fine. We won't return.

I regularly order from Le Pegase. The food is wonderful & reasonably priced. You get soup, pate with crackers, veggies & dessert all for the price of the main. The death by chocolate is one of the best chocolate desserts ever. I got the foie gras this week & it was fabulous.
Excellent cozy BYOW restaurant in Le Plateau. Never disappoints. Service is warm & attentive without feeling intrusive. Very casual, lively ambiance. Menu has great selection. Make sure you leave room for dessert!

Tout était parfait ! Peut-être une entrée trop copieuse, nous avons choisi les profiteroles au boeuf effiloché. J'avais moins d'appétit pour le reste du repas. Les desserts: sublimes!!!!
L'accueil est sympathique, convivial & décontracté. La salle est toutefois petite & nous nous sentons un peu serrés. Les cinq convives se sont régalés à tous les services dans la succession des plats offerts : potage, entrée, plat principal & dessert. La formule «apportez votre vin» prend ici tout son sens, & elle permet de faire ses choix avec les menus proposés.

Soirée parfaite! De l'entrée au dessert nous avons été agréablement surpris par tout ce que nous avons mangé. Je recommande fortement ce restaurant à tout le monde
Excellent repas! Nous étions 5, en entrée nous avons eu escargots au bleu & aux pommes, profiteroles au chèvre, foie gras & pieuvre & calmar. Tout le monde a adoré son entrée. En plat principal, nous avons pris le médaillon de biche, la bavette & les pâtes fraîches au lapin. Tous les pl ats étaient très goûteux, parfaitement cuits. Le seul bémol était pour les pâtes au lapin. Le lapin était mal décortiqué & il y a eu des morceaux de petits os dans le plat. On est peut-être juste mal tombé pour ce plat, qui était quand même très goûteux. En dessert, on a eu le traditionnel Mourir de chocolat, la tarte tarin, le Paris Brest & la croustade aux pêches. Très très bon. Le pégase est une valeur sure!

pegase is always a sure bet, the staff are busy, but they hustle, the food is consistantly good & fairly priced, some of the appi's are pedestrian, but the cheval is great, all the mains are great, especially their fish of the day, dessert shines, but their best dish is their giveaway the mousse de foie, to die for ...

Des belles portions & des goûts délicieux pour tout le monde, aussi bien en entrée, pour les plats & les desserts. Je reviendrais avec grand plaisir :)
Cela fait plusieurs années que je vais à ce restaurant & c'est toujours aussi bon des entrées au dessert avec un service hors pair ! prix plus qu'abordable pour la qualité & la quantité généreuse en plus d'un apportez votre vin, mon restaurant no 1 à Montréal :-)
Nous avons été très satisfaits pour tout. De l'entrée au dessert, tout a été parfait. Le tout a été préparé sous vide & réchauffé au four. Les temps de cuisson sont bien indiqués ainsi que l'ordre pour servir. La qualité même si réchauffé n'a pas altéré la saveur ni la cuisson . C'était très comparable à quand nous allions sur place. Nous avons choisi la biche & l'agneau & tous les deux étaient très bons ainsi que les accompagnements. Nous avons même reçu une baguette de pain & on a terminé tout cela avec deux excellents desserts, tarte tatin & le mourir de chocolat. Donc excellent souper. Un merci spécial à Daniel. À refaire
