The food presentation was just as good as the taste & quality of the food! We shared the vegan platter & it was incredibly delicious! The injera bread was some of the best I've tried. Service was good & the staff were friendly. The only thing I'd say is if you're hard of hearing it might not be a good place for you if you plan to converse over your meal, as the atmosphere is quite loud so it makes conversation a little more difficult to focus on.
First time having Ethiopian food & I was blown away. My wife & I ordered the Meat & Veggies plate to share & every single item was delicious. The standouts were the Doro Watt & the Bouticha. I would definitely eat here again.

What a wonderful experience for us... so interesting to eat such exotic foods & spices. We sampled many dishes & everyone was pleased. The service was also top notch.
We went to the restaurant while staying at the adjoining hotel. The food was delicious & the prices were reasonable. Not being as familiar with Ethiopian food they were more than willing to help with any suggestions on the menu.
This was our last night in Montreal & I just wanted it to be the cherry on top of a delicious sundae. I'm so glad we picked this place to end our vacation. This place is just so classy & the staff go out of their way to make you feel first class. The meals are absolutely spectacular & the place itself is very elegant. We had the sampler meal & it was just beyond what words will allow me to adequately describe. I can say every bite was amazing. You think to yourself can food really be this good? Oh my friend, it can because the staff of Le Nil Bleu do it with the greatest of easy & care every minute you're blessed to be dining here.
We were visiting Montreal from Texas & ate at this restaurant on our last night in town. The food was fabulous. We had only eaten Ethiopian food once before & weren't sure we were fans. We are now! We had the meat & vegetable tasting menu & liked everything. The spices & the freshness were very appetizing. It was a large amount of food & we couldn't finish it all as much as we wanted to. The people that worked there were very friendly & accommodating. If we lived in town this would be one of our go to establishments. Highly recommend it.
It was a pleasant experience. The food was exquisite & worth the wait. The service was excellent, especially from our waitress. Would totally recommend to anyone who like exotic food. Edit: I came back here with my mom since I had such a great experience last time. Their ethiopian coffee cocktail was divine, I definitely recommend it. All around great place to eat exotic food.
It is Ethiopian restaurant with super delicious tasty food, amazing quality & great service. I visited the city after five years & I invited my family at this restaurant. I am proud of them.

I judge Ethiopian restaurants by their Kitfo. This one was excellent. Extremely spicy but flavorful. The basic salad was beyond basic flavor-wise. Will be back!
Update: yes I came back, & went with the shared sampler for two & it was more than enough. Fantastic selection - great job on enhancing the menu.
I visited this place for the first time & I had experience a Real Ethiopian tastes food & so delicious the ways they serve very attractive & it's so tasty ,the staff are very friendly, respectful the price for food is reasonable,I would like to recommend this place to everyone
