Wow we had a very good experience at this restaurant ! The vegan platter for 2 comes with 4 starters & 5 portions to try as main ! Really tasty & service was 5 stars. I highly recommend !!!! Also loved the ambience, perfect for a date !
Authentic flavourful food, great price, & excellent ambiance. The owner, Lidya, was so kind & shared her experience with me. The staff is uber professional & attentive. I often order through UberEats to support local businesses, but got to visit in person for the first time this past Saturday, & so glad I did. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is located in downtown Montreal walking distance from Sherbrooke metro station very easy fine. The restaurant very clean & the bathroom very clean. Well organized & Very freindly staff. The food very delicious. I oderded thibsi. I highly recommend the Nil Bleu (Le) Restaurant any visitors to relax & enjoy good hot meal.
I invited my friends for my birthday & I decided to celebrate it in Nil Blue restaurant, it was amazing, we all enjoyed it, best birthday ever. We ordered different kinds of food & all were delicious For sure we will be back again. I highly recommend giving it a try, you will never regret especially the waitress, they were very friendly & helped me to organize my party. It deserves to be given 5-stars ❤️❤️❤️
I loved it Wow woww You have to try Ethiopian food, you will never regret it. All the different dishes I ordered I ate & loved them (some dishes were hot, I like to eat hot food) Next time I will try different side dishes. The staff is friendly, the place cozy & the bathroom is exactly like a 5-star hotel bathrooms I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Montreal who wants to try something different! It was the first time I had eaten Ethiopian food, the best Ethiopian food ever will return again Five out of five. Well done! I came here on a double date & the atmosphere was lovely (great lighting, fun music, & I loved the zebra print chairs haha). The staff was some of the best I've ever seen: incredibly attentive & friendly. & don't let me forget the most important part! The food was absolutely delicious! So well spiced & super flavorful. I love Ethiopian food, I would absolutely come again. Highly recommend for any future date nights you may have planned, or friends! Great for groups because the food is easy to share.
Absolutely love this restaurant, third time there & we took the tasting platter for 2....never disappoints. Portions seem to have gotten a little smaller from what I remember but the taste is delicious. Highly recommend if you wanna try something different.

This was my second time going there with my daughter & we get first class service, I was impressed! The inside was Warm & cozy, Lovely decor, Very classy & romantic. The food was AMAZING!!! & still the same, still great, The hummus was different than others I've tried, also the injera was so so delicious, everything we ordered was delicious. The staff were very friendly & helpful making recommendations. The Bathrooms are very interesting too. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Montreal who want to try something new! It is the best Ethiopian food we have ever had We will return. Five out of five. Well done! My friends & I had a great dinner at Nil Bleu. As it was our first times trying Ethiopian food, the waiters were helpful in telling us about the dishes & portion sizes.
As a group of 4 we got the vegetarian sampler for 2, & then ordered two additional meat dishes off the menu. It was more than enough food for us all as there was even some leftover.
I would highly recommend them for their food, & service. Great flavours to their dishes.
The food was great: it was presented beautifully & in large portions! Some of the best Ethiopian food in Mtl for sure.
Service: much better than what I'd expected, but there was a bit of chaos! There was a long wait btw our starters & main course with nobody showing up to ask if we were done! Someone from our party asked about wifi & they said they had it but never came back to provide the details...
Otherwise we had a lovely time there. Highly recommend the tasting menu!
I wish the review option let me put a 4.5 - this is a fabulous restaurant with lovely food that feels quite authentic - the decor is lovely & it is clean - they have some very interesting juices & cocktails - & the sharing platter has served us well on both recent visits. Very nice service.
Reservations are highly recommended, & the seating is comfortable.

It was my first time to dine in & try Ethiopian food, & surprisingly, it was so taste. Highly recommended for sure! The ambiance is so cozy & clean, & I love the design of the toilet. The crew & servers are so polite.
Beautiful chic decor. Amazing food. Fantastic cocktails. Wonderful experience. You need to like different spices & flavours in order to truly appreciate the experience. Highly recommend the tasting menu !
