Le Marquis Sans-Gluten is described as a standout gluten-free bakery with broad appeal for celiacs and gluten-free eaters alike. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff consistently friendly and helpful, making customers feel safe about their gluten-free choices. A wide daily selection of gluten-free breads, bagels, croissants, pastries and even frozen items is noted, with hot crepes made fresh on site and made-to-order options adding to the appeal. Flavors and quality are repeatedly praised, with favorites including croissant breakfast sandwiches, opera cake, hazelnut chocolate cake, raspberry turnovers and vegan tartes in several flavors. Some reviews mention higher prices typical of gluten-free goods and limited in-store seating, emphasizing take-out as the norm. Visitors from outside the city say they stock up on frozen pastries to enjoy later, and online ordering is available for convenience. Overall Le Marquis Sans-Gluten is seen as a must-visit for gluten-free pastry lovers in the region, delivering safe, delicious treats that compare favorably with the best gluten-free bakeries in Canada.
The atmosphere is lovely, but that's not why you come here. The staff were incredibly friendly, & it's easily one of the best gluten-free bakeries in Canada. As a celiac, you know a place is special when you feel the need to ask three times-mid-bite-'This is gluten-free, right?' & for a moment remember what it was like to eat a real french croissant. The other great thing is, the prices here you are not getting. gauged for being a Celiac.Andrea was also amazing customer service, i thought she owned the place cause she went out of her way to help us & making a long time customer.
Un délice, arrêt obligatoire à Montréal pour profiter d'une douceur sans gluten. Ils vendent aussi des articles congelés, comme des chocolatine, pratique pour en avoir chez soi quand on n'habite pas sur l'île!
Je suis allé acheté une galette des rois, qui n'est pas donné, je demande bien avant de la prendre a la caissière si celle-ci etait bien d'aujourd'hui, car je l'achete pour recevoir des invités;
Those of us in the greater Montreal area are blessed to have these fantastic gluten free bakeries. Fresh daily breads, bagels, & Croissants are always available. The showcases are always full of a variety of treats. I have enjoyed their pastry dough, pies & crepes as well. As a person with Celiac disease knowing I am 100% safe is so comforting. Flavors & quality are outstanding. I love Le Marquis.

Le Marquis is a world class gluten free bakery. They have a wide range of pastries & baked treats & have some available frozen croissants, almond croissants, chocolatines, bread & more to take home & warm up when you can't make it to the store. Since my last visit they have added hot crepes made fresh on the spot. It would be great to be able to sit & enjoy with coffee but unfortunately they do not have seating for in store enjoyment - so as far as I know it is strictly a take out establishment. Some cafe options & a few tables would be a great addition!
Super friendly staff! Was excited to find my first ever gluten free croissant. Great treat selection & was impressed by their made to order food as well. I wish we had a place like this in my home town! Gf Montreal staple.

Update:
I recently went to grab a cake from here, I believe I got the hazelnut chocolate cake. Everything looked nice from the outside but the cake was very dry on the inside. The flavor was there but the dryness was too evident.
Great vegan tartes; they have hazelnut, pear/pistachio, apple & I believe their last vegan option is raspberry. The cafe only has two seats to dine in & I only saw bubble tea drinks but they may have other beverages. All of their desserts are gluten free but don't worry, everything is delicious & fresh.
This was the first time at the bakery. I usually go to the gluten-free bakery down the road but it was closed. So I thought I would try this one.
To my delightful surprise the opera cake was probably the best I've ever had. Amongst other delightful pastries, that honestly made you feel not left out, being gluten free! I can't wait to go back & buy everything all over again
Visited from NY & stocked up on all the baked goods. Insane that they are gluten free! So flaky & tender. Shocking, really. Would love to understand the sorcery of how such gluten free perfection was created. Will be making regular trips to stock up again.
