This is a love & hate situation. Pros: amazing vibe. Very cosy & welcoming The live music makes this cafe even prettier & lovely & the artists are very talented with amazing voices Coffee is good Cons: I didn't find the place clean. I ordered grilled cheese & it barely had any cheese. In fact they cut it in half & one half the cheese wasn't even seen The salad is not too fresh & the vinaigate is too acidic ( white vinger flavour is overpowering everything else )
We love this little Cafe in Mile End. Live music most of the day, coffee is hot & freshly made to order & the food is fantastic! Highly recommend the carrot cake 👌
L'endroit est fort agréable & j'adore la musique live! Les portions sont GÉNÉREUSES & la soupe était bonne, mais il manque 2 étoiles pcque.. Le chai latté gouttait l'eau à la cannelle (lait d'avoine de qualité très bof & je sais pas s'iels mettent un sirop ou infuse en 15sec le thé, mais c'était pas mal rapide la prep). Le gâteau au carottes est HUGE, mais si ce n'était de la quantité généreuse de glaçage, le gâteau en tant que tel est sec. Le grill notchease était immonde. Sorry, mais j'ai jamais trouvé la purée de poivron. Le pain noir serait bon, mais complètement détrempé dans l'eau des tomates qu'iels mettent dedans. C'est le truc le plus moche que j'ai jamais mis dans ma bouche 🤣 un genre de sandwich mouillé aux tomates chaudes sans mayo 🤢 Conseils gratuits 🤷 Remplacer les tomates par de l'hummus, du végé pâté ou du vegan chease, ou retirer cette chose du menu 🙏 Bref, heureuse d'avoir donné 25$ à cet endroit qui encourage les artistes, mais je peux difficilement y retourner si je n'y trouve pas breuvage & bouffe à mon estomac ☹️

The drinks & cake were delicious, the staff was friendly, live music was very nice, just a delay in cleaning the tables for next customers, cups were left for a while on the table when we sat & had to wait for a while to be picked up.
