Great spot for wandering in the mile end neighborhood & taking a break on your feet while listening to hourly performances by various musicians. Drink & food prices are reasonable. I am definitely coming back.

Un super café ! Je voulais faire une sorte de petit brunch posée avec ma coloc & je suis tombé par hasard dessus. Le café parfait pour une ambiance campagne, chaleureux & vivant tout en restant calme. Il y a des musiciens qui jouent & c'est ce qui fait tout le charme de ce café.
On a pris bagel au saumon fumé & il était incroyable !! Les serveurs hyper gentil & souriant, ils mettent bien la dose dans le bagel, ils sont très généreux & c'est ça qu'on aime!
Aussi leur carottecake est super bon
Tout est bon a vrai dire
Pour faire du télétravail chill c'est bonne ambiance !

Love this place. Great food, friendly staff, & a longstanding community of regulars that make the place feel like home.
Unique atmosphere, a must stop for visitors who like to blend in with the locals.
Highly recommend their brunch & desserts, & of course the coffee.

This is probably the most bohemian cafe we have ever visited! They have a full calendar of live musicians during the summer & an authentic & eccletic atmostphere. Writers, artists, & locals all seemed to be in attendance when we stopped by here for lunch. The food was excellent! We had the vegetarian chili & egg bagel sandwich. Seating is a bit tight in the main area, but there was also space outside & in the back.

I've been coming here on & off for 20+ years, through three ownerships.

The place is unique & amazing in that between 10am & 5pm daily there are'music slots' where musicians come & play for free (all professional level) to either break-in new material, jam or practice in front of a crowd.
Music styles vary all over the place & are at the discretion of musicians (classical to rock or fold, going through jazz & electroacoustic...).
The coffee is on the traditional Italian roast side. Teas are high quality Camélia Sinensis & the food is snack / light / small style & budget friendly.
Computer use friendly.
