This is probably the most bohemian cafe we have ever visited! They have a full calendar of live musicians during the summer & an authentic & eccletic atmostphere. Writers, artists, & locals all seemed to be in attendance when we stopped by here for lunch. The food was excellent! We had the vegetarian chili & egg bagel sandwich. Seating is a bit tight in the main area, but there was also space outside & in the back.

I've been coming here on & off for 20+ years, through three ownerships.

The place is unique & amazing in that between 10am & 5pm daily there are'music slots' where musicians come & play for free (all professional level) to either break-in new material, jam or practice in front of a crowd.
Music styles vary all over the place & are at the discretion of musicians (classical to rock or fold, going through jazz & electroacoustic...).
The coffee is on the traditional Italian roast side. Teas are high quality Camélia Sinensis & the food is snack / light / small style & budget friendly.
Computer use friendly.

I was impressed by the ease of the ordering process. The staff was attentive & warm, making us feel right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine & the relaxed atmosphere of the place. I'll be returning soon to taste more of the menu. It is the perfect location for a pleasant outing.

Classic coffee place with good coffee & good service. The people here are friendly & nice. There is always place to sit & work or read a book if I am having a chill afternoon & spend some time relaxing then I come here to read a book.
