Review Summary

Le Clara offers a refined, cozy ambiance that works well before or after a show, and the dining experience is generally positive with attentive, accommodating service and a strong wine list. The atmosphere stays calm, with a comfortable level of background noise, and guests appreciated helpful guidance on dishes and drinks. Some dishes showed inconsistency, with a few items underseasoned or not aligned with expectations, and the vegetarian and vegan options were limited. A change in ownership was noted by some, and while the team often delivered efficient service, a few visits highlighted moments of confusion with the bill. Overall, Le Clara emerges as a reliable, pleasant option to enjoy something a bit different and well-suited for various occasions, with frequent praise for the friendly staff, the ambiance, and the quality of the food and cocktails, inviting a return visit.

A surprising out-of-the-way gem of a restaurant nestled in the PLACE des ARTS CENTRE on the beautiful pedestrian mall section of Rue Sainte - Catherine.
A unique seating arrangement around a circular art display supplemented by terrific service & a superlative chef & kitchen producing distinct menu offerings. My STEAK TARTARE was a generous portion of lovely flavours as was the PAN-FRIED TROUT & CANDIED RATATOUILLE & served simply (no unnecessary sides) to highlight the dishes' excellence.
Lovely wine selections to compliment the most enjoyable dinner in this unique venue. What an enjoyable vacation'find' for us!!!!
SUGGESTION: confirm their hours with the restaurant. Their website states open for dinner 4:30 to 11:00 p.m (...&'According to the shows at Place des Art ) but as we walked in fairly late we were just a bit rushed as they closed that night at 8 p.m.)
