Hands down the best food I've eaten at a cafe in the last few years 🙏 I returned several times over the week to sample multiple menu items including pancakes, Lox platter, breakfast burrito, grilled cheese, & chicken sando.
The Lox platter was a very generous serving & great flavour in the latkes, the pancakes were decadent, the burrito was a surprisingly amazing combination of flavours, & the chicken sando hands down the best meal with the homemade cesar dressing.
They serve perfectly balanced Cortado's & their filter coffee was very refreshing.
When I return to Montreal this will be the first place I return to!
The pancakes were delicious, & the avocado toast had a generous amount of avocado, although it was a bit over seasoned with salt & pepper.
Madison was a great server & the food was beyond amazing kind service, & great people
Very cool. We had no idea of what to expect but it was just fantastic! The staff was fun & laid back at the same time. The one server created such a fun vibe with her singing & getting into the music that I found myself singing along. Very cool. & the pancakes -- incredibly delicious!
My friends & I went to eat brunch at Le big trouble today & we had such a great time!
The food is insane & very fairly priced! The staff is so kind & we loved the whimsical decor! I got the Caesar chicken sandwich with extra breakfast potatoes on the side & it was marvelous! It was made with two very crispy chicken cutlets & a big helping of Caesar salad with parmesan & tomatoes between two soft pieces of focaccia! I have a big appetite but my meal could have easily fed two people!
It is also a very nice study spot during the week & so convenient considering how close it is to downtown & berri uqam!
Would definitely come again!
Visited Montreal for Thanksgiving & woke up craving a solid brunch the next day. Ended up at Le Café Big Trouble, & it hit the spot. They had Sailor Moon playing in the background, the vibe was chill, & the whole place just felt like my kind of spot. Perfect for grabbing a quick bite & just hanging out for a bit. Definitely recommending it!
amazingly crispy hashbrowns, nice homemade jam, & bottomless coffee 🤌
I'm a regular customer one time every week I take a coffee & read & actually I like the terrace to do that plan, this week I asked for a burrito which was a greatest option for a good breakfast. Their americano is amazing & there's a raspberry & lemon muffin that is wonderful.
Reeeeeeally pricy for what they offer, at least it's good, but there's plenty of other brunch spots that offer the same price for more food//better quality😉
Menus in French & English. The staff was welcoming & let me practice my French! Food was delicious, great flavors done well.
Such a nice experience, humble friendly atmosphere. Yummy brunch. Happy that didn't avoid big troubles…
I love this place. It's creative, fun, quirky, run by people that care about the community & the food is delicious.
Good food, good service & good atmosphere! Pancakes are delicious here 🥞
