The food is amazing. Everything on the menu is so good. But the wait to get the food is extreme. We were told it might take up to 40 mins when we sat down which we decided to do since we had already committed to eat there but it took about one hour to get our order (small order, 4 people).
The waitress was very kind & apologetic & offered us cookies but I had to keep my kids hungry for an hour before they got to eat!
It was the opposite of trouble coming to eat here on a Sunday after a weekend of clubbing & good times. My friends & I were promptly seated by a tattooed & jovial server. The food, bright & fresh, left us in the mood for stimulating conversation & fuzzy warm laughter. The best iced latte I've had in ages! Phenomenal. However, some berries on the yogurt would have been nice. Definitely come here to get your brunch on.
This place is an absolute gem. The vibes here are very comfortable & playful, while not compromising on food. The space is intimate & the playlist is bumping. Do yourself a favor & get to Le Cafe Big Trouble!
Le Café Big Trouble, a monument for the best parts of Myrtle-Broadway in an otherwise pastoral morning environ. Delightful, full of juxtaposition. Their coffee gives enough vituperance to walk all the way back to Bushwick, & their food will fill you happily for the ride.
Don't really understand the praise for this place. Firstly, the service was bad/non-existent, but it's set up such that you have to pay & tip upfront before you realize this.
We waited about 35 minutes for 2 orders of the'big breakfast', & the place wasn't that busy. It was very salty, eggs were runny, & it had that cheap lard taste to it (you know, where you feel a bit sick after eating it). Also, they have music blasting first thing in the morning, it's honestly a bit much when you're waking up.
Came here for brunch while visiting family a few weeks ago. It was super delicious!! Absolutely loved those pancakes--still dreaming of them. The portion sizes are pretty generous, so be prepared for that!
The staff made the vibe great, but some of the decor is an interesting choice (the mural haha)
Ordered an avocado toast & I was surprised with the size. It was quite big but very delicious!
The service was great & you can tell the staff have a lot of fun working here.
Atmosphere is fun, music is very 2000's throw backs.
Le lieu est très sympa. J'ai mangé des pancakes qui étaient succulents, un vrai régal.
L'endroit n'était pas plein, mais l'attente était un peu longues pour nos 2 assiettes .. malgré tout nous avons très bien mangé
