What a lovely spot! We arrived late afternoon, close to closing but they couldn't have been more generous in accommodating us. Fabulous food, loved the salmon platter.
Totally charming cafe with delicious food & amazing service. We loved the salmon platter. Perfect for an afternoon share or a morning brunch.
Such a great cafe with some of the best pancakes & brunch items I've had. Staff is very friendly & has awesome acoustic musicians playing there especially during POUZZAfest. If you're down here in May for Pouzza it's a must to go for hangover food, or tired from no-moshing at Turbo Haus food if you're not a drinker.
The food is amazing. Everything on the menu is so good. But the wait to get the food is extreme. We were told it might take up to 40 mins when we sat down which we decided to do since we had already committed to eat there but it took about one hour to get our order (small order, 4 people).
The waitress was very kind & apologetic & offered us cookies but I had to keep my kids hungry for an hour before they got to eat!
The homemade breads are insane, coffees are tasty & the vibes are always fun (can catch SpongeBob or adventure time on the projector). A gem!
You can tell that the chef the staff & the bakers at this place go above & beyond. The menu was incredible & every single detail
It was the opposite of trouble coming to eat here on a Sunday after a weekend of clubbing & good times. My friends & I were promptly seated by a tattooed & jovial server. The food, bright & fresh, left us in the mood for stimulating conversation & fuzzy warm laughter. The best iced latte I've had in ages! Phenomenal. However, some berries on the yogurt would have been nice. Definitely come here to get your brunch on.
This place is an absolute gem. The vibes here are very comfortable & playful, while not compromising on food. The space is intimate & the playlist is bumping. Do yourself a favor & get to Le Cafe Big Trouble!
Great place, loved the vibe & the staff are super friendly. The avocado toast was great!
Le Café Big Trouble, a monument for the best parts of Myrtle-Broadway in an otherwise pastoral morning environ. Delightful, full of juxtaposition. Their coffee gives enough vituperance to walk all the way back to Bushwick, & their food will fill you happily for the ride.
Don't really understand the praise for this place. Firstly, the service was bad/non-existent, but it's set up such that you have to pay & tip upfront before you realize this.
We waited about 35 minutes for 2 orders of the'big breakfast', & the place wasn't that busy. It was very salty, eggs were runny, & it had that cheap lard taste to it (you know, where you feel a bit sick after eating it). Also, they have music blasting first thing in the morning, it's honestly a bit much when you're waking up.
Lovely cafe with an excellent atmosphere & even better food! Pancakes are a must try!
Came here for brunch while visiting family a few weeks ago. It was super delicious!! Absolutely loved those pancakes--still dreaming of them. The portion sizes are pretty generous, so be prepared for that!
The staff made the vibe great, but some of the decor is an interesting choice (the mural haha)
Les pancakes ricotta-compotée de pommes-crumble & sirop d'érable étaient bons & copieux.
Ordered an avocado toast & I was surprised with the size. It was quite big but very delicious!
The service was great & you can tell the staff have a lot of fun working here.
Atmosphere is fun, music is very 2000's throw backs.
Small cafe with friendly staff serving great brunch options at reasonable prices.
