The menu is not extensive but what they have available is to die for. I tried the sirloin with a cabernet & the thousand -layers pastry for dessert & it was phenomenal.

Pour fêter notre 7e anniversaire de couple, nous avons soupé à ce restaurant. Le service était impeccable; Emma nous a traité avec soins, son travail était exemplaire! Notre table était bien situé avec vue sur la ville. Nous avons commandé les huîtres; la soupe végétale; le poulpe grillé; les pétoncles poêlées; les tortellinis aux homards & le risotto pour finir avec un dessert au pain d'épice. Divin divin divin! Jordane, le sommelier, nous a recommandé un vin qui allait bien se marier avec les plats commandés; il a visé juste! Pour le désert, il nous a fait découvrir le Mistelle de poire gelées: wow! Clairement, cet homme est connaisseur, passionné par son métier. Emma & Jordane, merci d'avoir contribué à rendre notre soirée mémorable! 🤍

Merveilleuse soirée du réveillon de la Saint Sylvestre dans un cadre somptueux & avec un service de grande qualité. Le repas en 6 services étaient excellents : sashimi, pétoncles, cromesquis de canard confit, carré de biche, flétan & pour finir dessert au chocolat ! Un seul bémol: l'orchestre. Heureusement il n'a débuté sa prestation qu'en fin de repas (le volume était assourdissant !!!). Très belle expérience.

Very disappointed that one of the members had an allergic reaction after repeatedly (3 times with different staff) asking if any nuts were present in the dessert, & we were ensured that NO NUTs in the panna cotta.

duck starter well done; but Main dish of deer - meat tough & potato undercooked; main dish with scallops - risotto too cheese wizz like with only three very small scallops; mille feuille dessert was very good

We had a wonderful dinner, the service was excellent. We had the pain perdu with lobster & the scallops for appetizers. Then we had the lobster risotto & the beef tenderloin with fried fois gras. For dessert we had their take on the Mille feuille, it was superb. The wine was nice & the cocktail, Mansfield, was very tasty. At the end we had a small glass of le coq d'or, which was very nice. Excellent way to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary. Thank you to all the staff there.

Excellent restaurant (première fois pour le lunch). Plat savoureux, portion décente. Un peu déçu par le café gourmand avec les mignardises - surtout parce que la description de la serveuse nous avait donné l'impression que c'était un dessert assez généreux qui pourrait même être partagé...ce n'était vraiment pas le cas :-) Pour le reste, très satisfait: ambiance, service & emplacement.

Le Boulevardier est un des meilleurs restaurants de Montréal. Les plats sont excellents, de l'entrée au dessert, avec des produits de qualité & des associations très originales. Le service est impeccable & l'équipe très sympathique, professionnelle & investie. A recommander à toute personne à Montréal qui souhaite passer un très bon moment que ça soit entre amis, en famille ou pour un repas d'affaires.

The best dinner experience of my life. They accommodated me as a vegetarian & put together a vegetarian 6 course tasting menu apparently for the first time ever. You wouldn't know it though, every dish we had (my husband eats meat) was phenomenal. The portions were sized perfectly that you could enjoy a few bites of it & we were stuffed by the end. The service from our waiter Nicolas was impeccable. The lobster risotto & mushroom ravioli in particular were out of this world, as was the dessert. Cannot recommend this place enough. Well worth the money for the quality of food & service.

It was my first time at this restaurant. The Cromesquis Canard- duck foie gras was creamy & rich. The filet beef was juicy & cooked to absolute perfection. Dessert which was an extremely tiny (only probably a couple of bites) Champignons-Erable was delicious. Our server was very chatty but not too attentive. I found it a little chilly in the restaurant & the atmosphere didn't have a warm & elegant feel of a high end restaurant. I will definitely return for the exquisite food.

Another wonderful experience at Le Boulevardier. I first discovered them a few years ago where they impressed me during MTL à Table & I've been back several times over the years as a result. I'm overdue to leave them a review. One of the first things I remember impressing me was how they took my allergies seriously. For instance, one time in the past, I ordered oysters & told them not to bother bringing any hot sauce or anything spicy since I couldn't use it anyways. On their own initiative, they brought me a delicious pear-based mignonette instead that I still rave about. Much more special & unique than the standard onion & red-wine based mignonette that often comes with raw oysters. I also took a chance in 2024 to try their Montreal en Lumiere menu & was totally wowed by the creativity & daring & unique menu they came up with. Now I will focus on my most recent visit in July 2024. I had the scallops in bacon cream sauce & it was delicious. The scallops were cooked just right & I completely cleaned my plate of all the sauce with the bread. It was the kind of dish where you stopped talking to people at your table because it was so delicious you couldn't focus on the conversation & just automatically tune everything out while you are absorbed in the taste explosion in your mouth. The beef with foie gras & potatoes daupinois with asparagus was perfectly cooked & seasoned. I loved everything on my plate, & it all went together wonderfully. The beef was so tender, each bite melted in my mouth & the foie gras elevated it to another level of decadence. I normally don't order things like steaks, preferring to choose my own cuts of quality beef & cooking them at home, but I had no regrets at all ordering this dish. The knowledgeable servers told us it was a signature dish that they often keep on the menu even when other selections on the menu change. Now I understand why. The dessert was also unique (it had mushroom ice cream) & beautiful. The service was impeccable. Everyone we spoke with was so knowledgeable about the food & alcohol pairings, & knew everything about the menu, what to recommend, etc., & did so with obvious passion, professionalism & enthusiasm. The ambiance is lovely, well decorated, & classy without being stuffy or arrogant. I always feel so comfortable & happy whenever I dine here. The staff are truly welcoming. I also appreciate that they don't cram tables too close together, so you can enjoy your conversations with your companions at your table without raising your voice & feel at ease without feeling like neighboring tables can listen in. Please keep up the excellent food, service & experience! I will definitely be back to try those seafood platters, as well as other items on the menu I didn't get chance to try yet. Le Boulevardier has continued to deliver over the years & has landed in my personal top 10 in Montreal list. I hope they continue in this fashion & I look forward to my next visit.

Ordered a tasting menu 6 courses. Sophisticated. Flavorful. Classic French plating Sweat fresh crab meat. Calamari perfect tender loverly dressing but croutons felt bit hard not crunchy. Perfect Lobster risotto. Very flavorful rabit saddle & plum & just the right salt. Good cheese plate average age / dryness / good flavor. Amazing gelato dessert I don't understand why utensils were not changed between dishes. Plating is good & classic but suggest to elevate a bit since many like it wow on photo. Restaurant had a high end setting. Nice decor / lighting / color scheme. Nice comfort bench Host & server show welcome / smile. Server seems mix experience. I was seated & there is no one came to us for approx 10 min maybe less I didn't time. Just a greeting is all we needed if you are busy. I asked for a change of table windows seat & got the okay from the host. There is missed of communication where other reply windows seating was reserved I had only tap water & no wine. I felt I was pushed for bottle water. Reminded second time to get me slice of lemon. When refill my water I was asked bottle water again. This show server doesn't remember what I ordered in such a high end setup. At least they serve dishes on the serving side. Server did not brief on dishes being served. It is often a nice touch to tell guess what's on your plate.

Exceptionnel ! Merveilleuse soirée au restaurant Le Boulevardier. Amélie & Nicolas ont partagé avec générosité leur passion pour la gastronomie & nous ont conseillé pour déguster des plats raffinés & cuisinés avec amour avec des ingrédients de première qualité. Notre excellent sommelier a su agrémenter le tout avec des choix de vins surprenants pour notre plus grand plaisir. La côte de boeuf d'une qualité rare & cuite à la perfection & le carré d'agneau sont à recommander. Les desserts légers & subtils finissent en beauté un repas hors du commun. Merci à vous tous pour votre professionnalisme & votre extrême gentillesse. Une adresse incontournable!

Unfortunately, despite this being a frequent favourite of our family, this was the second poor experience. Upon arrival, in advance 15 minutes for a 1230 table, I was admonished for being too early. I was advised to wait elsewhere & come back. Not politely - abrasive & frankly rude. Upon my return at 1225, the host seated three couples who arrived AFTER me. Seated & waiting an eternity for water. Upon arrival of my guest, the same host hovered waiting for us to order (no time to decide). The meal finished & the restaurant 80% empty, we waited 20 minutes for our dirty plates to be removed. We ordered cappuccinos & the dessert trio each. The coffee arrived quickly, the dessert trio 15 minutes later - coffee finished. Very, very poor service. Very unfortunate for such a previously excellent establishment. This was the second poor visit in a row. Looking for a new destination. Best regards

Les plats étaient bons, même si la portion de poisson était un peu petite. J'étais toutefois déçu de ne pas pouvoir commander de dessert. Il y avait pourtant des choix de desserts sur le menu du midi sur internet.

What a lovely evening at this delightful restaurant in the Hotel St Germaine in Montreal. Four of us chose different meals from the menu & we were all delighted. Rack of lamb, lobster French toast, mushroom ravioli, lobster risotto...all were uniquely presented & delicious! Excellent service. Outstanding desserts ( one with mushroom powder that was to die for!). This restaurant is underutilized which is a shame. One of the best meals we have had in Montreal. Highly recommend!

Le Boulevardier offers fusion dining experience, exceptional service, & great atmosphere... To those who are able find it on the second floor of the hotel. The staff is knowledgeable & friendly , & the service was attentive. We ordered a rabbit with foie gras & plums, & a risotto. Both dishes were full of flavors & looked wonderful. You can taste the essence of French & Italian cuisine. We couldn't leave without dessert - & both of them were fabulous, with an inventive & artistic mix of flavors & colors. Bravo!
