Very expensive for a not so memorable meal. I had the tasting menu, which was quite disappointing. The amusebouche of fish & strawberries tasted only of strawberries. The scallops were good, but not spectacular. The pre dessert was nice, but the dessert was nothing to write home about. I actually don't even remember what it was. The sommelier was very interesting, but the wine, although good, was way overpriced. The evening cost close to $600 for 2 people, which is unreasonable. That being said, my husband enjoyed his steak.

Absolument fantastique. C'est ma 3eme fois au Boulevardier, & comme toujours impossible d'être déçu. Le service est impeccable, du début à la fin. Leurs conseils de choix de vin, par un sommelier expérimenté qui connaît ses vins sur le bout des doigts, vient également renforcer le sentiment que vous êtes dans un restaurant haut de gamme.
Lors de cette visite, les pétoncles que j'ai pris en entrée étaient sublimes, le filet de boeuf très bon, mais alors que dire du dessert... Divin! J'ai mangé dans des grands restaurants, goûté à des centaines de desserts, mais la ce fut incroyable! Leur millefeuille révisité est à s'en lécher les doigts. Je pense que je pourrais ça tous les jours. Pas trop sucré, croquant, avec du goût. En bref : allez y les yeux fermés, vous ne le regretterez pas.
We went to this restaurant during#Mtlatable & it did not disappoint. 4 courses & we opted for the wine pairing which was a success. Outstanding dishes were the Buratta with beets, the scallops & the lamb. Both desserts were outstanding. Charles our server was professional & very knowledgeable. The Sommelier was personable & made great recommendations. The view was also beautiful & this is one of the restaurants I have been to where you can chat as a couple & there is limited noise. Great for date night!
This was a restaurant in a hotel. I never think of good restaurants being in a hotel, but Montreal has a number of exceptional ones, this being one of them. French olfood oriented menu with just the right sized serving portion. Very good wine list with a very attentive sommelier. We had a table that overlooked the street & the restaurant was relatively quiet so that you could easily converse across the table.

Notre expérience a été tout simplement exceptionnelle. Les plats étaient tous délicieux & très bien accompagnés par les recommandations du sommelier, le service est irréprochable & le tout dans un très beau cadre.
Une adresse absolument incontournable, idéale pour toutes les occasions !
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, in the Le Germain Hotel. The lunch menu is short but varied & the $39 table d'hote is awesome. Never disappointed. Friendly staff, including a sommelier who is eager to please. Bon appetite 😋

Boulevardier & ce fut délivré avec brio! Tous les plats comportaient de belles surprises, des saveurs exquises & on en a carrément oublié la grisaille & la pluie. Des produits de la mer divinement préparés. Que dire de ce dessert inoubliable aux fraises du Québec pour faire un clin d'oeil à l'été? Wow! Même Patrice Demers aurait craqué devant un tel assemblage. Des repas comme ceux-là, ça rend la vie plus jolie. Service impeccable, sommelier inspirant & attentionné. Le Boulevardier se démarque aussi au fil du temps par son confort & l'absence de bruit environnant agressant. Merci pour ce beau cadeau!

On a passé une soirée de rêves hier soir au Boulevardier. On a pris le menu 6 services & le sommelier nous a proposer un accord parfait. Nous recommandons vraiment l'expérience

A group of six of us went to dinner last night with high hopes, but came out disappointed & a varying degree of dismay/anger. First on food - one of the members had the great fortune of ordering beef tarter as starter & lobster risotto as main & his dishes were very well executed. 4 of us had lamb chops for main, & it is the most bland-tasting lamb chop I have had to absorb into my stomach - simply a tasteless plate & not the best quality of lamb either. The leek soup is so meek lacking a punch for a soup fit for a restaurant of this statue & hotel affiliation.
It got worse from here in terms of service. The young lady working on our table is distracted, inexperienced & lacking the skills to deescalate difficult situations, such as not knowing how to provide split checks as instructed, missing one main course within the group, missing a coat check item, combative when items in take-home bag missing. The sommelier is unbearable, taking too much time to stage his talking points, thinning the oxygen in our corner. He also stuck himself in our group photo in what he thinks is a jovial & what we deemed a very callous behavior, completely uninvited.
With all that said, I am certainly being generous for the extra star above one star. I am not hopeful this place will improve. Future diners beware.
Companion & I were there to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed the chef's tasting menu with the wine paring. It was wonderful, each course was well prepared & delicious. The sommelier took his time for us to understand what we were tasting & why. I would recommend if you are looking for an exceptional meal.
Pour fêter notre 7e anniversaire de couple, nous avons soupé à ce restaurant. Le service était impeccable; Emma nous a traité avec soins, son travail était exemplaire! Notre table était bien situé avec vue sur la ville. Nous avons commandé les huîtres; la soupe végétale; le poulpe grillé; les pétoncles poêlées; les tortellinis aux homards & le risotto pour finir avec un dessert au pain d'épice. Divin divin divin! Jordane, le sommelier, nous a recommandé un vin qui allait bien se marier avec les plats commandés; il a visé juste! Pour le désert, il nous a fait découvrir le Mistelle de poire gelées: wow! Clairement, cet homme est connaisseur, passionné par son métier. Emma & Jordane, merci d'avoir contribué à rendre notre soirée mémorable! 🤍
Great wine suggestion from the sommelier. Had the Arctic char as a main & it did not disappoint! Had the soup of the day - vegetarian & it was perfect on this snowy day to warm us up. Beef carpaccio was delicious too.

Was at Le Boulevardier's on New Year's Eve. The 6-course meal was varied between fish & meat. We did not choose the wine pairing option but the sommelier came up with very good options. We would have liked the live music to begin before 10 PM though. If you are there for dinner at 7:00 PM, you are not likely to be around to enjoy the music at 10.
Great food, very reasonable prices! Our server & Sommelier were both absolutely fantastic, they gave us all the advice, knew the menu & were attentive the entire time. They were never intrusive though. Would highly suggest for a nice evening out!
Impressive dining experience. In-house French sommelier was very sweet. Food was cooked well & presented beautifully, although with a bit of extra salt will make it even better. Nice decor & view. Will re-visit.

Il règne une atmosphère unique, un parfait équilibre entre le confort chaleureux de se sentir chez soi, grâce à la gentillesse & à la courtoisie du service, & l'expérience gastronomique, toujours à la hauteur de nos attentes. Mention spéciale au sommelier pour ces conseils de qualité & à la jeune pâtissière qui émerveille nos papilles par sa générosité & sa créativité. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander vivement cette expérience.
Nous sommes venus manger un soir avec ma compagne est c'était excellent !!! Le service était rapide, souriant & au petit soin. La cuisine fut un plaisir gustatif & visuel ! Merci aussi Au sommelier Jordan qui a su prendre le temps & bien nous conseiller malgré le monde dans le restaurant. Grace a cela j'ai pu découvrir le vin Orange que je ne connaisais pas mais que je recommande !! Merci pour ce moment ! Nous reviendrons !
