I had the special Tiffin & it was excellent. great flavor combinations, very authentic with some good spice (not too spicy mind you)

The food is bursting with rich, authentic flavors that transport you straight to South India. From the perfectly spiced Chettinad curries to the crispy dosas & fluffy idlis, every dish is made with care & packed with bold, traditional taste.
The service is warm & welcoming, & the staff are happy to explain dishes or help with recommendations if you're new to South Indian cuisine.
They also offer several Vegan options.

The Chicken 65 biryani I ordered was disappointing. The chicken was extremely dry, burnt, charred & overcooked. While I could tolerate the old chicken being served, the smell of the chicken indicated poor-quality oil, making it inedible.
I urge the owner to pay closer attention to the quality of the chicken served in the biryani. Restaurants have very little margin for error; it doesn't matter if you served a good meal to the same customer 100 times-one bad meal is enough to lose them forever. This is especially true during times of inflation & cut-throat competition in the industry.
I wish you all the best, but please double-check your quality standards. Your food has been excellent in the past, which is why I am giving this a 4-star rating to prevent it from affecting your overall score, despite my 1-star experience this time. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
This place is really good! It is authentic Tamil South Indian food. The food is flavoured to perfection. Please try the special tiffin! You can't go wrong with this choice which will give you a sample of all the Tamil delicacies; there is a scrumptious masala dosa accompanied with coconut chutney & a spicy garlic chutney. You'll also get a medhu vada & a idli. You'll get ven pongal & a delicious pineapple rava kesari as well.
Dosa & vada were average.
Biryani was below average looks like pulav. Didn't even eat it. Restaurant policy doesn't allow to return if something was not good.

The food was not at all good. The taste & quality, both were not up to the mark. Both my husband & I had weird burps for a few hours after the meal. I ordered a masala dosa & my husband a veg thali. The paneer gravy was too sweet & the chole were just ok.
I had a fantastic experience at Lakshana's Chettinad South Indian Restaurant. The authentic South Indian flavors were spot on! The dosas were perfectly crispy, the sambar was flavorful, & the variety of chutneys was delightful. The ambiance was warm & inviting, making it a great place for both family outings & casual dining. The staff was attentive & ensured we had everything we needed. If you're a fan of South Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, this is a must-visit spot. Highly recommended! I lovedddddddd itttttt!!!
The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor & cooked to perfection. The menu offers a wide variety of options, & everything we tried was delicious. I especially loved the creative twists on classic dishes. The service was excellent with attentive & friendly staff. The food quality is really upmarket.
Foood is really good. The staff is very cool & service is also very fast. The staff is also very calm & chill. The restaurant is super clean aswell. Will go again there.
