The food was really good especially the onion masala dosa & paneer garlic masala dosa! The staff was really nice. Will for sure come back here with family! Service was quick.
The staff is very polite. We ordered their masala dosa, sambhar was nice, however they had a touch of north indian in the masala aaloo.
Overall it was okayish
I had channa masala, rice, & roti. All were excellent. Food was flavorful & warm. The service was equally as good. The place is not huge, more so cozy & welcoming. I walked in from the street, but parking is akin to that in any city block.
Very tasty food especially podi masala dosa..staff very friendly & sweet. I also purchased the dosa batter & it is very good. The best part is that it is naturally fermented & made without any preservatives. Definitely worth it.
Lakshana's Chettinad South Indian Restaurant on Saint Catherine has become our go-to spot - my spouse & I visit almost once every month. We always order the Podi Masala Dosa & Uttapam, & they never disappoint! The taste is consistently authentic, the portions are generous, & the flavors remind us of home-cooked South Indian food.
The dosas are perfectly crisp, the chutneys & sambar are flavorful, & the staff is always friendly & welcoming. It's rare to find such good quality & portion size in Montreal for South Indian cuisine. Definitely one of the best spots in the city for dosa lovers!

Went there with a friend as I wanted to show the food that I love & eat back home & I must say... One of the best restaurants I visited since I arrived to montreal. We had the podi dosa, pokida, masala vada & my favorite, rasam. The best way to end your busy Friday. & the masala chai was amazing. The staff was lovely & made our experience really good. Will come back for sure.
This place is really good! It is authentic Tamil South Indian food. The food is flavoured to perfection. Please try the special tiffin! You can't go wrong with this choice which will give you a sample of all the Tamil delicacies; there is a scrumptious masala dosa accompanied with coconut chutney & a spicy garlic chutney. You'll also get a medhu vada & a idli. You'll get ven pongal & a delicious pineapple rava kesari as well.
The food was not at all good. The taste & quality, both were not up to the mark. Both my husband & I had weird burps for a few hours after the meal. I ordered a masala dosa & my husband a veg thali. The paneer gravy was too sweet & the chole were just ok.

Excellent, tasty, & a wonderful dining experience. Thank you very much for being so kind to us. My friend & I had the masala dosa, which was the finest dosa I've ever had. The girl that was there made the experience one to remember.
We had 2 Maisur Masala dosas & 2 Paneer masala dosas & one chicken Masala dosa. Everyone in the family enjoyed their food, the best masala dosas we have had so far. Delicious food & great service. The hostess was professional & took her time to answer our questions. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing Indian vibes , & the food was so good . Had that perfect Indian touch , was as spicy as I wanted . If you crave proper Indian authentic breakfast items , I highly recommend this place . I ordered the tiffin set & it was so filling . The masala tea was so good too
