I have been taking the weekly tiffin service (6 days a week, Monday off) & I'm very satisfied. The food is always fresh, homely, & delicious. The owner lady is very kind & polite, & she genuinely cares about quality & taste. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable & tasty home-style meals.

Lakshana's offers consistently flavorful South Indian food in a casual, no-frills setting. The dosas are crisp & well prepared, Everything we tasted was fresh, & the menu has enough variety to satisfy both newcomers & regulars.
Service is friendly & efficient, even during busy periods, & orders come out quickly. It's not a fancy spot, but it delivers where it matters: authentic flavors, good value, & reliable quality. A solid choice if you're craving proper South Indian comfort food in the area.
Really enjoyed the food here. Fresh, light, & full of flavour. The chutney had an amazing kick to it. Good service & a nice overall experience. Would definitely suggest this place.

The dosa was fantastic! Perfectly crispy on the outside & soft inside, with flavorful fillings that tasted just right. The chutneys & sambar were fresh & complemented the dosa beautifully. A delicious, authentic treat!

We visited from Vancouver & decided to find some Indian food to eat. We were happy to see great reviews for this place & it makes sense as the food is delicious & plentiful! We ordered the butter chicken & Veggie Pakora & was super happy with how fresh & tasty it was. We never tried South Indian food but it was SO DELICIOUS! We were so full by the end of the meal so we took a little walk around town. Tasty food, kind & courteous staff & really good pricing. What more could you ask for as this place is amazing! Thank you for the tasty food!
First i wanted to say the ladys working over there are super nice ! The price is affordable to eat over there , also they give you a discount on first sight when you gave them review (up to you) . I loooooove indian food the past 10 years , the restaurant is cozy , very very clean & spacious ! Located in downtown. Food is suuuuper delicious & fresh. I highly recommend :)

the best south indian restaurant so far. they serve the best fresh sambhar with their signature chutneys especially the coconut one. we ordered Onion & masala Dosa along with Idli on the side. It all tasted great. their customer service was up to date, friendly & clean environment.
I am a regular here as an international student in Montreal & the dosas, idlis & vadas are fresh & perfect taste for our Indian palate. I also love their rava kesari & parottas. Don't forget to ask for their filter coffees!
