The atmosphere of the red walls, the classical south Asian music & the servers bringing in our food, it was the pinnacle of Indian dinning. Me & my friends went & we all had a great time with the big selection. I especially loved the butter chicken & chicken 65. The bathroom was clean & it was like a nook, well lit & heated while we enjoyed our very tender & delicious food. Will come again 🌟

Ordered boneless chicken biryani , what we got was just some veg pulav rice & a few flavourless boiled chicken pieces here & there. Super disappointed , veggies & tomatoes were seen more than the chicken. If something is missing on the menu it will be great if you can suggest a different dish on the menu rather than just slap a random dish on customers face.
My wife & I used to be regulars here - often once every week. Our last visit has changed that. The lamb Chukka was simply chunks of barely seasoned lamb & fat, swimming in grease. The butter chicken was very spicy - even after we asked for it to be mild. The server could care less & didn't seem to care that I had been served a plate of grease.
Too bad, this used to be a great little restaurant. Must be new ownership.
Overall nice spot with great Butter Chicken. Incredible Value & good portions, we even consider sharing only one portion of rice & naan the next time.
Looking forward to visiting again soon!!
Wow. The lady who served us was so kind & friendly, & it is one of the best services I've had. My sisters & I came on Friday, & she let us enter before 5, even though they only start working at 5. We ordered after 5, & all went well. The food was hot & fresh, she was timely, & the food was AFFORDABLE compared to other indian restaurants & SO GOOD.
The gulab jamun was alright, but everything else was simply amazing. We got the garlic naan, butter chicken, lamb rice, pekora & gulab jamun.

Had an amazing dinner with our uncle & aunt... four of us ordered 3 type of Dosas ie Mysore Masala dosa, Chicken Chettinad dosa & Podi dosa with ghee kothu paratha , Rava Kesari & Mysore pak...It was amazing specially the coconut & garlic chutney with the dosas reminding us of our local udupi restaurants in mumbai. The hostess who was Punjabi but used to live in himachal (sorry forgot to ask her name) was delightful catered to our small demands & always smiling. We would definitely visit this place if we we ever pass through montreal again.

Ordered a bunch of different dishes, one of them being chicken 65 - literally was given refried chicken & wasn't edible. Not the first time it has happened at this location. A waste of money.
Lakshana's Chettinad restaurant is a good Indian cuisine restaurant. Tasty & good food. Came here for takeaway for our dinner & it was worth it. Ordered food over the phone & the parcel was ready by the time I reached. Courteous staff who guided me to reach the restaurant as I had issues finding it. Table service & takeaway is available. Paalak Panner was good but wasn't spicy. Boneless chicken biriyani was well cooked, tasty & a good quantity. Had a good dinner from this restaurant.
