Really solid meal with flavours that stand out from the typical Indian restaurants found all across Montreal. The food was very well-seasoned & authentic. We ordered the Gobi Manchurian, Channa Samosa, Lamb Chukka, & the Chicken 65 Biryani for a take out, all of them were delicious, with great aromatics & punchy heat. The Madras paratha was just okay (nothing special), but everything else hit the mark. Service was fast, the server even offered me a mango lassi while I was waiting for my order. Definitely worth checking out if you want distinct Chettinad & South Indian regional cooking.

We have visited today for lunch & services was excellent & delicious. Briyani & South Indian thali is very authentic flavour. We went during their lunch break. Still they permitted us & we had wonderful lunch.

Delicious authentic Indian flavors paired with warm, friendly service.
The chicken, lamb, biriyani & kotthu were all excellent - rich in flavor, well-cooked, & satisfying.

The chicken was tender & nicely seasoned, the lamb was especially tasty & soft, & the biriyani had a great aroma with balanced spices.
The Chicken kotthu was flavorful & made very well.

Every dish tasted authentic & fresh, with a great balance of aromas & textures. The service was excellent & the atmosphere was warm & inviting. Highly recommended for anyone who loves delicious & flavorful food! They have variety of Indian dishes from tiffins to meals & wide variety of Dosas, a must try. My love for Dosas never end 😍

Great little Indian restaurant in CDN neighborhood, the waitress was very welcoming & even chatted with us to introduce us to Indian food as we've never tried before from an authentic Indian place. Great recommendations & the food was tasty. Portions are huge, enough to feed 2 people, & the prices are more than fair. If you're looking to spice it up & make it a bit more exotic, this is the spot.

Petit restaurant subtile & semi-rustique. Personnellement j'apprécie le style car offre une impression d'authenticité.

J'ai commandé le Cari au poulet avec un bol de riz blanc & Pain Naan au beurre..

Repas (10/10): À la hauteur de mes attentes & voir plus. Beaucoup de saveurs & parfaitement épicé.

Menu (7/10): Nombreuses variétés au choix, autant pour le végétariens que pour les carnivores. Le menu est en français & anglais & présente de belles images pour les repas.

Service (3/10): La Mme était gentille, mais ne parle pas français & je devais moi-même me servir l'eau (température pièce) malgré le fait que j'étais le seul client sur place. On est venu me voir qu'une fois à la fin pour me demander si tout était beau.

Prix (7/10): Acceptable, pas trop chère, surtout pour la qualité des repas, mais je ne paierais pas d'avantage.

Ambiance (6/10): Correct, il y a de la musique indienne qui joue, mais rien de réellement déplaisant.

Je conseille pour les gens qui veulent faire de nouvelles découvertes !

If you're looking to eat good South Indian food, please don't go here. If you've never had South Indian food & can't tolerate spicy food, this is a good option. The food could definitely use more authentic flavors & spice. Also hire more staff! The one waitress there was trying her best & provided the best service she could, however it gets overwhelming for her if the restaurant is busy.

If u r craving an authentic taste of south india, look no further than Lakshana chetinad restaurant , from the crispy dosa to the creamy flavourful sambhar each dish is mouth watering . The aroma of freshly grounded indian spices fills the air as soon as u stepp inside! The highlight is undoubtedly the filter coffee ,it's the ideal ending to a meal, offering a rich, smooth, & satisfying finish. Must try its a 10/10
