Came here on a whim one afternoon during the week for lunch. The food is incredible, very flavorful & delicious. They have a nice menu with a lot of daily specials. Pasta, veal, beef, fish, seafood, lamb, etc... The decor is nice & there's a small terasse. I definitely want to come back for dinner.
Went for lunch with friends. Have been there in the past, & was never disappointed. Ordered escargot; they were lukewarm. Ordered liver; it was overcooked. I guess I could have or should have specified I wanted it'rose'/slightly pink in the middle. Underwhelmed by my meal, at a place that is usually spot on. They have a list of off menu items available, but you have no idea on cost, unless you ask; there has to be a better way. Great lunch because of the company, ambiance & service, but average culinary experience.
Absolute gem of a restaurant! My wife, son, & I had lunch here this past week, & the food, service, & atmosphere were all excellent. We had the lobster ravioli, risotto, & filet mignon - each dish was perfectly prepared. The two individuals who attended to us were polite, knowledgeable, & genuinely friendly, providing excellent service throughout our visit. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in Montreal. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Italian cuisine!

Lunch with my cousin to celebrate his birthday. Great ambiance. We had crab cakes as appetizers & they were delicious. I had the sea bass & he had the braised beef both were very tasty. Can't wait to return. Service was attentive.
Attended a Tuesday lunch at this restaurant & was surprised to see it completely full (Tuesday... & lunch!). If this was an indication for how good it was going to be it did not disappoint. The menu is difficult to choose from because of the wonderful selection & to make things worse, the waitress described the Menu du Jour which complicated matters of choice even more. Everything our table of 3 ordered was exquisite & bursting with taste. The ambiance was bustling however we never felt rushed or pushed in any way. I had been here a few times in the past & never took the time to review. Their is not a dish that missed at this restaurant. Likely the best Italian restaurant in the West Island (& I would include most of Montreal for that matter).
La Verita has become our go-to restaurant. The service, food & welcoming atmosphere are unparalleled in the West-Island. Whether it's a family dinner, birthday celebration or business lunch/dinner, you are in good hands! Bravo Derek & team!
As we entered, we were welcome right away by the hostess. She walked us to our table for our meeting lunch. Service was great, water with lemon was brought to the table, & some bread to munch on while we decided on what we wanted to order. The waitress presented with details each of the dishes that were available but not on the menu. We all ordered mains, & she recommended to order an appetizer to share as it might take a while to get our mains, which we did. The service had a good flow, & we never had to ask for our water to be filled. We were checked up upon multiple times, & we appreciated that. The food itself was good. Quality ingredients, flavorful & enjoyable. We all cleared our plates. I would highly recommend for lunch time.
