Really impressed with the quality/selection of meals & top notch service at the La Verità Restaurant. Made a great dining experience for our family group of 4 adults. Can't praise enough the service staff, super attentive & helpful with suggestions/info about meals & desserts. Also excellent wine selection. Lovely place certainly worth a visit :)
It's our first night in Montreal & it's my birthday! 🥳 My daughter made reservations at La Verità.
They started us off with a plate of focaccia, olives & sundried tomatoes. This was our first meal of the day & it waa yummy, it opened up our appetite. 😋
We had three different staff looking after us. They suggested items not on the menu so to start, we selected the Burrata with pistachios, pomegranate & a honey balsamic drizzle with sourdough strips. This was a delicious starter, & very filling!😋
Our mains were the Lasagna & the Lobster Ravioli in a cream sauce. My daughter loved her Lobster Ravioli 🦞, my lasagna could feed two. Although it was meaty & cheesey, something about the pasta was lacking, a four out of five for me.
We ended our night with desserts, but before we ordered, the staff was nice enough to bring out a slice of Tirimasu with a lit candle. I'm not a big fan of Tirimasu, (but I truly appreciated the thought). We ordered the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream & the carrot cake with walnuts. These desserts were exceptional!😋😋
The staff were attentive & friendly, & a special shout out to Nolan, who was so kind & helpful, teaching us proper French translationings.🤭😜
It was a wonderful evening, & a fabulous start to our vacation. 🎉🍷

La Verita is a Montreal gem! Beautiful place, The food is outstanding-fresh, authentic, & full of flavour. Every dish is a hit & the portion sizes are very generous. The desserts will blow your mind! Cozy vibe, exceptional service, & unforgettable craveable food. Overall great people. A must-visit! …… over & over again.
A very nice restaurant with many imported items from Italy, depending on the season. The decor is chic, & the ambiance is pleasant-lively but not too loud! Our waitress, Dovina, provided amazing service, offering excellent suggestions & in-depth details about the uniqueness of each dish. We enjoyed the burrata, beautifully paired with pistachios, pomegranate, honey, & balsamic-absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were fair & well-balanced, leaving us perfectly satisfied. A perfect place for special occasions, it's worth what you pay for! For the main course, we had the ravioli d'aragosta, which was creamy & flavorful. We also tried the grilled lamb chops, perfectly cooked & tender, served with asparagus, mashed potatoes, & peppers. For dessert we shared a maple cheesecake that was sweet & delightful. A standout feature was the half-bottle wine list, which added a nice touch to the experience.
On Thursday December 14th we had our company Christmas dinner at La Verita. We were a party of 20. We had a multi-course meal which included fresh bread & focaccia, calamari & crab cakes, an appetizer of prosciutto, melon & mozzarella, a plate of penne pasta with tomato sauce, a green salad, & a main course of braised beef or salmon. Dessert was home-made tiramisu. The food was excellent. There were plenty of wine choices & a variety of hot drinks to follow the meal. The service was consistent & friendly. We were quite amazed that the food was hot & served all at once. Derek & his team did an excellent job. We will most certainly have future dinners at La Verita. Definitely a restaurant with class, great service, & excellent food!
We were very pleased with everything, service was amazing, We brought customers from out of town & they were very impressed, the desserts were incredible as well, & the staff was amazing, our waitress was so polite & attentive, we really appreciated everything, thank you

My husband & I have been to La VERITÀ several times & are NEVER disappointed.
Food is always delicious. The desserts to die for. Servers are polite, professional & attentive.
The best thing we can say about LA VERITÀ is the consistency. Food & service always excellent. Great job guys 🥇
It was our first time there last night. We were celebrating my husbands 60 th birthday. Since the moment I spoke to Johnny on the phone to reserve, until the very end including a dessert with sparkles for hubby, it was an amazing experience! Alain was our waiter & was incredible). The beautiful hostess was also very kind & helpful. We will definitely be going back !
Ps. My son who never eats with appetite, devoured the calamari & flank steak.

Excellent service from Stéphanie for my boyfriend's 41st Birthday on Friday September 15th.
We had cocktails, wine, appetizers, the main course was hard to choose & you know how it is.... You always wish you had picked the first choice... (which was the Ossobucco ) Even the second choice which was the Risotto with fungi & cream & unicorn whispers====they will never admit it but they use it as a secret ingredient
So I had the Ricotta Gnocchi topped with Burrata. Still good bug I'm never really hungry by the time we get to our main courses.... Not after 3 appetizers & sometimes bread
It was awesome. Stéfan was very pleaded.
Stephanie gets mentioned in a lot of reviews because she is a pro & also quick, efficient & the right amount of talking back .
Waiter was very nice & helpful & described the menu well. The entree was delicious as well & as our main course & dessert. We recommend LaVarita anytime.

The meal was divine, the service was stellar, & the restaurant is classy. My husband ordered escargot (appetizer) & veal scallopine, & it was Cajun salmon for me. The meal was beautifully presented & not a morsel was wasted. For dessert it was a warmed brownie with ice cream & we enjoyed it.
Besides the meal & restaurant being wonderful, the bathroom was spotless which just added to the already awesomeness of the place. Alain tended to us as if we were family. Thank you very much & we hope to be back with friends.

tried the soup & calamari for starters, duck breast & lobster ravioli for mains, & creme brulee for dessert. All were very good. Service was superb. Will go back
I enjoyed dinner out with some friends at Restaurant La Verità this evening (in front of Marché de l'Ouest. Once we were seated they brought out piping hot focaccia, which was phenomenal, so well seasoned & lightly crispy. For my main I had lobster ravioli which was absolutely incredible. For dessert I had a delicious latté & a lemon crème brulée. The service was excellent as well, despite them being short staffed.
This was our fourth visit with family in two years (we come each time we visit from the states). The food continues to be high-caliber/quality. The servers are professional & know how to serve. One server recognized us from previous visits, which was an added pleasure. Our server David, had a perfect wine recommendation that matched our four varied mains. The specials are well-conceived & all of the menu items are well-orchestrated. Nothing gratuitous on the plates, & the garnishes are perfect, nothing superfluous. In short, this is a professional, high-quality Italian restaurant with excellent service. Some of the best escargot & octopus that we've ever had. They also had a perfect dessert with sparkler for my father-in-law's birthday. Perfect classy touch.
I found this restaurant on a simple web search & based on the reviews I read decided to try this restaurant with my wife on our anniversary. Suffice it to say the service & food were very, very good. They have a set menu which you can see on their web site but they also have a menu that changes weekly. My wife & I both chose from the weekly menu, she & gnocchi & I had osso bucco with risotto. The gnocchi was like a cloud & the osso bucco melted in your mouth. The wine recommendation was spot on & the carrot cake for dessert finished offd the meal beautifully.
The attention to detail & the wecoming friendliness of all the staff was perfect. I highly recommend!
