Really impressed with the quality/selection of meals & top notch service at the La Verità Restaurant. Made a great dining experience for our family group of 4 adults. Can't praise enough the service staff, super attentive & helpful with suggestions/info about meals & desserts. Also excellent wine selection. Lovely place certainly worth a visit :)
This restaurant has been such a pleasant surprise! The service is great, fast & friendly, the food is delicious, & the atmosphere is that of a luxury but at the same time warm, family&friends restaurant. We will be back many times more. The price is very good for the quality of everything.

La Verita has become our go-to restaurant. The service, food & welcoming atmosphere are unparalleled in the West-Island. Whether it's a family dinner, birthday celebration or business lunch/dinner, you are in good hands! Bravo Derek & team!
Hosted my engagement party with 60 family & friends, & it was perfect! All my guests commented on how amazing the food was, how kind & accommodating the staff was, & how beautiful the space was! Highly recommend!
Ate here with family members for a special occasion. Great food that was prepared perfectly with super amazing service from all of the wait staff. Very friendly & knowledgeable. Very nice decor with just the right noise level.
I drove from Ottawa to surprise my Mom for her birthday (75), staff were super accommodating & were in on our scenario from the start. Server was awesome, was there without us asking or having to ask for anything. &.. one big thing, my Gluten friendly diet daughter did not have any issue finding anything to eat on the menu, which for her can be a stressful & let down for such an event.. we were not let down & she had a delicious meal. All in all a super experience. Also, as an out of towner... parking can be a thing.... & there is tones!!! As it is next to a mall! Win Win! In the end, they let us have our great special, inter-generation evening'our way' we were well served, were not kept wanting for anything & they let us have our moment as a family!....for that I say a big thank you! Oh oh...& they are bilingual...you are welcomed with a'Hello-Bonjour' to me that means a lot as a francophone.

Exceptional service! Was very accomodating to my severe food intolerances, which usually leave me staying away from dining out. Had halibut, which was perfectly cooked, memebers of my family were also very pleased with their dishes. Perfect birthday dinner on the West Island with plenty of parking! Definitely will be back, our thanks to chef Nick & the whole staff of servers!
As always the staff is most attentive to individual needs & gives excellent advice.

I was very impressed by the whole staff. Very courteous, pleasant & smiling. We need more of that. Derek & his team were awesome & saw to our every need. The gazebo was great (even though it was raining) but a nice break from our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to feel like you are part of the family.
The meal was divine, the service was stellar, & the restaurant is classy. My husband ordered escargot (appetizer) & veal scallopine, & it was Cajun salmon for me. The meal was beautifully presented & not a morsel was wasted. For dessert it was a warmed brownie with ice cream & we enjoyed it.
Besides the meal & restaurant being wonderful, the bathroom was spotless which just added to the already awesomeness of the place. Alain tended to us as if we were family. Thank you very much & we hope to be back with friends.
Our family eats here as often as possible. Nothing leaves the kitchen unless it's perfect. The food is only outdone by a clairvoyant staff. The owner is always there, a well dressed man ready to catch your eye, smiling ear to ear. This is a timeless dinning experience.
Great food, professional, kind & dynamic server who made us laugh. This was an excellent place to meet family member who we had not seen since pandemic. Resto was recommended by another family member who use to live in neighborhood. Did not disappoint. We will come again.

Delicious food with original twists on Northern Italian fare. Lovely, classy ambience & attentive service. A great place for a date, a business lunch, a family dinner or a celebration. A fantastic find & a real gem in the West Island!
This was our fourth visit with family in two years (we come each time we visit from the states). The food continues to be high-caliber/quality. The servers are professional & know how to serve. One server recognized us from previous visits, which was an added pleasure. Our server David, had a perfect wine recommendation that matched our four varied mains. The specials are well-conceived & all of the menu items are well-orchestrated. Nothing gratuitous on the plates, & the garnishes are perfect, nothing superfluous. In short, this is a professional, high-quality Italian restaurant with excellent service. Some of the best escargot & octopus that we've ever had. They also had a perfect dessert with sparkler for my father-in-law's birthday. Perfect classy touch.
Excellent friendly attention to detail. Strong staff work ethic & knowledge. Food was outstanding, tasty & beautifully presented. Prices are reasonable, great wine selection & attention to detail beyond reproach. Warm & family feeling within an elegant upscale setting. 5 stars
