Since 1999, the restaurant LA PRUNELLE is a bring your wine that imposes itself on the popular Duluth in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal. The chef conveys her passion in each of her dishes, working with products of Quebec dotted with Mediterranean accents. Respecting both the producers of the province and seasonal changes, the menu leads us into an adventure filled with happy detours. One feels immediately at home in this lively and friendly restaurant, overseen by Annie the co-owner and her team. The place is a beautiful and charming space, with large windows that open completely in the summer. One thing is certain, LA PRUNELLE is a very good value for money and is surely one of the finest dining experiences on the Plateau Mont-Royal.

Excellent repas. Nous étions 9 & avons goûté à plusieurs des plats au menu
Bonne variété au menu incluant viandes, poissons, abats--tius excellents.
Le poulpe glacé au miel, la poêlée de champignons, le tartare; tous excellents.
Le ris de veau, le poisson du jour, la bavette- irréprochables.
Le service agréable, les prix raisonnables considérant la qualité.
Le repas vaut la peine que l'on apporte de (très) bons vins.
Les desserts, qui a prime abord semblent communs ont également surpris. Par exemple le gateau au fromage de chevre cepes & fruits.
Recommandé sans détours.
PS: un bémol, pas de clim, donc dans la canicule, y fait chaud!
Très bon service (aucun le pression de la Part des serveurs), plat monter avec soin & très frais. Nous avons jamais eu à redemander d'eau, le serveur a su devancer nos attentes. Peut être un seul commentaire qui pour certain peut être négatif, l'ambiance est quand même bruyante dans l'ensemble. Mais mis appart ce point, je recommande très fortement ce resto pour l'ensemble de son menu & service de qualité!

The environment is cozy & the waitresses are always smiling & really taking care of the customers. The food was well done & the presentation of the dish just perfect . The dessert I took the lemon//passion fruit could be better or a little less sour but didn't impact the whole experience & I will go back for sure to the bistro & would recommend to everybody.
L'ambiance, le service & la nourriture tout était au rendez-vous. Ceci est ma 2ème visite & ce ne sera pas la dernière. Je le recommande fortement.

Like all the places we visited in Montreal, everyone was incredibly nice & accommodating. The food was spectacular from start to finish. The flavor profiles were incredible & the plating was beautiful. We tried many dishes: the mushroom appetizer was savory, & the chorizo black pudding was tasty & came with 2 different sauces to satisfy the palate. We had the veal chop, beef shoulder, duck, & the gnudi which all were amazing dishes & all different in their creation & taste. The service was great & just the perfect amount of attentive, there when you need them & discreet while enjoying the meal. 5/5 for us & would absolutely recommend.
Food was amazing (portions were on the small side, as expected), service was timely & staff were attentive. Overall great atmosphere, highly recommend!

Entrée & plat vraiment délicieux, malheureusement des desserts pas à la hauteur, beaucoup de bruit (au point que l'on ne s'entende plus parler même en haussant la voix) & un service peu précautionneux (j'ai été bousculé par les serveurs une dizaine de fois pendant le repas, dont une fois suffisamment fort pour soulever ma chaise). Au final, on ne recommande pas ce restaurant, & c'est dommage car les entrées & les plats sont excellents...
Resto chic avec une gastronomie de haute qualité. On a pris la table d'hôte & nous avons tout aimé, du tartare de boeuf au Étagé aux chocolats/Clafoutis aux framboises en passant par le Tbone de Veau!! N'oublions pas le trou nnormandau milieu! Un délice à ne pas manquer! Je recommande fortement!
great BYOW resto in the Plateau...reasonably priced, cozy dining space, highly recommend the grilled octopus & the lamb sirloin... service can be a bit spotty though
Trés bonne ambiance, service trés aimable & souriant. Les entrées & plats succulents ! Mais les desserts étaient un peu décevant. Une tarte citron destructurée remplacait la crème brulée & c'est dommage, trop lourd & pas au niveau du reste pour la présentation. Nous recommandons !

La soirée a été un vrai succès.
Le menu de Saint Valentin était recherché & raffiné.
L'ambiance est très chaleureuse & agréable.
J'ai cependant constaté un service un peu long. Il y a eu une erreur dans l'ordre des plats, qui a été corrigée. Cela a donné l'impression d'un certain dépassement dans le service ou la cuisine.
Dans l'ensemble c'est une belle expérience que je recommande fortement.
Je recommande fortement ce restaurant, Tataki d'agneau délicieux, duo de porc excellent & pour finir la tarte au chocolat sublime. Les portions sont un peu petites & le restaurant est très bruyant.
Ambiance calme & apaisante. Petit endroit mais tout de même chaleureux. Nous avons essayé dans le cadre de MTl à table: menu à 41$ par personne. Entrée de rillette de saumon & entrée de tataki d'agneau. Très bon pour les deux. repas de Morue & Duo de porc. La morue était le meilleur plat de la soirée avec chips de topinambour & mais. Le porc était un peu sec pour le filet mais le flanc délicieux avec la purée. Les desserts étaient plus que copieux, tarte au chocolat noir & le cake de courge & crème. vraiment bons. Service amical & temps d'attente raisonnable. Je recommande.

I am visiting from Saint Louis. This was a restaurant that was recommended to me from a native Montrealais because of the good food & the byow program. I have to say this place was without a doubt the best dining experience we have had here in Montreal. We went to Joe Beef earlier in the week & were left wanting with less than stellar service. But here, everything was perfectly timed, all dishes were perfectly cooked & layered with flavors. Especially the veal t bone steak, it was magnificent!! Meeting the owner was a joy & he took wonderful care of us all evening. This restaurant is truly a gem in a city that is filled with options. Bravo!!
