Display Allchinese(14) all you can eat(11) favorite(9) shrimp(9) dumplings(9) dishes(9) recommend(8) peanut butter(7) fresh(7) peanut(7) toast(6) sauce(6)This used to be a great all you can eat restaurant. They closed it for 2 months. Now, it's not the same. Be careful about "all you can eat" part. If you ask for more than one of the popular dishes, you must insist & must insist & must insist to get them. It's really annoying (I am talking about peanut butter dumplings & canape). We waited for over 1.5 hours for main dishes. We were 6 people & ordered 3 peanut butter dumplings & 2 canape for entry. After 0.5 h we got only one & one. They insisted that they are going to bring them later. Didn't happen but after a heated discussion with the waiter. Still didn't get ever our second canape asked. In general, the food is very good, but it used to be better.
You cannot find a better resto in mtl serving szechuan food. They offer thai food as well. If you like peanut butter, you must try their vegetarian Hunan dumplings. They also offer pork dumplings. Staff are pleasant & polite & service is excellent too. All their choices are fantastic especially their seafood dishes.
Birthday lunches are always the best when spent with good friends. I'll be honest, I have not been to La Perle in many years. When I discovered that they have lunch specials, it was a great opportunity to give it another try. We weren't disappointed. With a full course meal & a multitude of selections available, you can always find your favorite dishes. All meals come with a choice of soup, won ton or hot & sour, a spring roll, veggies, rice, your choice of main dishes, tea, & cookies. I had the General Tao, & my friend had the Beef in Pepper Sauce. See pics. Everything was delicious. The General Tao was crispy, as were the veggies. Perfection. I can't wait to go back & try something else.
AYCE menu option available. We always opte fot that option as the choices are incredible. The dishes are excellent, you get over 100+ items to choose from. We love going in a group setting so we get to pick lots of dishes. We discovered some dishes that we would have never tried before (hello shrimp canapés) & absolutely loved them! The AYCE is worth it!
I recently dined at La Perle Chinese restaurant, & it was an outstanding culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality & a cozy ambiance. The menu offered an impressive array of Chinese dishes, & each one I tried was a delight to the senses.
The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented.
What truly set La Perle apart was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, & genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring our dining experience was memorable.
The restaurant's attention to detail extended to its decor, creating an inviting atmosphere that made me feel like I was dining in a traditional Chinese eatery. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a family celebration, La Perle offers an ideal setting.
Overall, I highly recommend La Perle Chinese restaurant for anyone seeking an exceptional Chinese dining experience. It's a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered & savored.
Arrived here with my wife on Valentine's Day 2019 for a 7:30pm reservation. Sat down & the first question the waiter asked me was how I was paying. A strange question to ask someone before ordering but I answered cash. After 25 minutes my order was placed officially according to our manager (more on that later). We had our entree served around 20 minutes later. At around 9pm our main course never arrived & we witnessed two tables leave due to the main courses not arriving. We were unable to stay any longer as being there for 1.5h without a main course at an all you can eat restaurant is just plain unacceptable. So we decided to leave & asked to be charged for just what we ate. Our soups, shrimp toast, salad, peanut dumplings & a beer. We asked the waiter for the bill & he came back with the full amount 95$. I then told him this was unacceptable & offered him half the bill as there was no service performed. Plus they never even came once to remove the dishes on our table the entire time we were there. The manager refused this offer & demanded we pay the full amount & that if we didn't he would call the cops. I told him this was completely unacceptable & then he threatened to take my license down & chase me down. Talk about customer service here. At 9:30 he brought me my food in a take out bag & out of shear disappointment I paid the full amount. Please stay away from this shameful restaurant & what a true horrible experience for my wife & I to experience on Valentine's Day.
