Reviews describe La Finca Café as a bright, cozy spot with a welcoming vibe and a strong focus on breakfast and coffee. The food gets high marks for variety and a homemade feel, with standout dishes like shakshuka, frittata, croque madame, a salmon and kimchi sandwich, and a much loved bagel BLT. Pastries and desserts earn frequent praise, especially cinnamon rolls, croissants and locally made yogurts and chocolates. Coffee is consistently praised for quality, with smooth lattes, bold cortados, and well balanced cappuccinos, though a few notes mention temperature or speed issues. The atmosphere is described as charming, relaxed, and family friendly, sometimes lively and busy with a small space that can get loud, though a back terrace adds charm. Service receives praise for friendliness and efficiency when possible, but lines and waiting times during peak hours are common critiques. Overall La Finca Café comes across as a reliable go to for breakfast or brunch with good coffee, tasty in house food, and a welcoming vibe.
fantastic food! i had the smoked salmon sandwich with kimchi & it is a marriage made in gustatory heaven. the krunch of cabbage & kimchi complement the smoky smoothness of the salmon. & because life is uncertain, i started with the most decadent cinnamon roll that i have ever tasted accomppanied by a good cappucino. while I'm still looking for an old fashioned cappi, with piles of foam (& no cute design), this coffee did the trick, balancing the richness of the cinnamon roll, & the spiciness of the sandwich.
not cheap, but excellent & out of the ordinary! throw in friendly service & i will be returning to try other delights on the menu.

Great cafe that was recommended to us by a Montreal friend. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Great coffee & pastries - the cinnamon rolls were amazing. Loved the smoked salmon sandwich.
Amazinggggg little coffee shop. Incredible latte. Cinnamon bun thing was 😘😘😘. Laptops at the tall booth seats w no back rest allowed. Great chatty / catchup atmosphere.
A bit hippy, very affordable, wood + pastel colours. Loved it & will be back.
La Finca Café is my go-to spot for a reliably excellent latte. I usually grab mine to-go, & every visit has been a great experience with consistently high-quality coffee. The place is nicely decorated & always clean, making it a welcoming spot.
While I haven't tried their food yet, the menu looks tempting-especially their famous cinnamon buns, which I've heard so much about & plan to try on my next visit. In fact, I'm looking forward to dining in soon to enjoy the full experience!
If you're in the area & craving a well-made coffee in a pleasant atmosphere, La Finca Café is definitely the place to visit.

Cute little café on Bleury St, downtown Montréal. I went on a Sunday morning around 10:15 am.,& waited in line 20 minutes to be served. It was worth it! I ordered the cinnamon roll & cappuccino. Let me describe this bun. Well, if a croissant married a cinnamon roll, the baby is the resultat . The outside is buttery & flaky like the croissant, & the middle is the gooey cinnamon goodness. The staff are super nice & helpful. They were a few tables, but I sat at windows on stools. There is a nice view right up front. A place to come back!
Really enjoyed the shakshuka & cinnamon roll. My wife had a frittata that we pretty decent though somewhat under seasoned. Cute vibe with really nice employees. Great little breakfast cafe.
Delicious food, lovely service, great ambience & all for a fair price. Be early if you plan for brunch, as the place & get busy. Their orange juice & the cinnamon roll are must-tries.
