Malt's hotdog is great, but Lili is the real star of the place - her cocktails are out of this world, giving the city's top cocktail bars a serious run for their money. Great drunk food, but damn Lili's drinks!! Will be back for her raspberry mojito & mango pina colada !!!

MALT is where you go when you're in desperate need of your Uncle's 1970's basement or your chain-smoking-forever-young grandma's living room. This aesthetic of this place is one thing, but can we talk about their DRINKS? Delightful, delicious, they've got ✨range✨!

The blended coffee drink is addictive as hell & is the perfect late night dessert.. it has my heart. If you're lucky you might even get to taste their fruity little lemon-esque shot.

& finally.. Lily. Lily is the BOMB! She runs the best ship in the joint, & slays.. always! May all of the patrons get the chance to meet the lovely Lily :)

We didn't have food, but I'll give it 5 stars based on the rest of our experience. We are in town for a short time & wanted to stop for a drink. Stumbled upon MALT & couldn't be happier.

Lilly gave us fantastic service & amazingly crafted cocktails. She was attentive, friendly & knowledgeable. The vibe is great, & if you're looking for an intimate cocktail bar- this place is for you.

As I said, we didn't get food (it was late), but the first thing I noticed on the menu was 8 hotdogs for $35. This place knows how to steal my heart. 10/10 would recommend.

We were travelling from London Ontario for just under a week. visited malt on our first night & immediately became our staple place for the rest of the trip! Staff were so friendly & helpful, great cozy vibes. Truly a gem!!

Malt was a great place to spend an evening enjoying good music & good drinks 🎶. While many people around us were ordering cocktails 🍸, we kept things simple with a pint 🍺 & a glass of red wine 🍷. The atmosphere immediately stood out & made it an easy place to settle in & relax.

The server put the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack on the record player 🎵, which was great fun to listen to while we were chatting 💿.

Malt strikes an excellent balance between a hip venue & a traditional pub 🏮, creating an atmosphere that feels very distinctive.

A big shoutout to Malt Montréal & a lot of gratitude & love for Olivier & Pablo who offered me a place to sit quietly & catch my breath after I entered the bar in a state of shock after a man tried to assault me in a backstreet nearby. Olivier called a taxi for me & escorted me outside to make sure I would go home safely. I don't drink alcohol, but the place is nice & that's definitely the kind of business that deserves to be known, & the kind of people you want to be around. 🩷🩵💜

Absolutely the best bar in Montreal, the staff here is simply the best & the entire feel of the place is so comforting & so cool. My wife & I came here a few years ago before it was named MALT & we are so very happy it is even better than it was before. The drinks are superb, the bartenders are so accommodating & helpful, & the vibes are spectacular. We will keep coming back year after year.

Great spot with a really fun & relaxed atmosphere. MALT is the kind of place that's perfect whether you're going out with friends or just looking for a casual drink. The vibe is lively without being overwhelming, & it strikes a nice balance between a bar & a chill hangout spot. The drink selection is solid, with a good variety of beers & options to choose from, & everything is reasonably priced for the area. Service is friendly & efficient, even when it gets busy, which makes the experience even better. It's also a great place to spend a longer evening without feeling rushed. Overall, a reliable go-to spot with good energy, fair prices, & a welcoming crowd.
