We stopped off here for dinner on our way back to Granby from Dorval. We had several options, but La Cochonne Rit was highly recommended by a family member who lives in Chambly.
It was a great choice for our group of 5 adults & one'tweenager'.
Service was excellent from the get go, & our server was attentive,professionnel & upbeat. He discussed the menu with us in both English & French to include all of our group.
The menu choices were really good, but the special that Sunday evening was bavette, served with fries or baked potato & salad. It was a great value at $32, so 4 of us had that & the other 2 had burgers. The food was nicely presented, delicious & the bavette cooked to our choice of doneness.
I'm looking forward to going back when heading that way. I would definitely recommend La Chochonne Rit for a vibrant & welcoming dining experience with excellent food, warm service, & a modern atmosphere that feels upscale.
C'était ma dernière visite dans ce restaurant. J'avais pris la peine de réserver une table pour deux personnes à l'extérieur. À notre arrivée, la serveuse n'a même pas pris le temps de vérifier si nous avions une réservation & a attribué notre table à d'autres clients.
Devant nous, il y avait un couple qui n'avait pas de réservation, & pourtant ils ont obtenu une place à l'extérieur. Cela rend la situation encore plus incompréhensible.
Nous comprenons qu'il n'est pas garanti d'obtenir une place à l'extérieur, & nous en étions conscients. Toutefois, l'attitude de la serveuse a été encore plus décevante que la situation elle-même. Elle nous a parlé de façon condescendante, comme si nous étions des imbéciles. Un tel manque de respect est inacceptable & ne reflète certainement pas le professionnalisme auquel on s'attend d'un établissement de restauration. C'est très décevant & cela ne nous donne aucune envie de revenir.En plus elle dis va falloir attendre 20 minutes de plus si vous voulez une table a l exterieur.
We waited half an hour to get our drinks, 45 minutes to get our food. However, our server was very attentive & very nice. I didn't finish the mango mojito that I ordered. It's very sour! Too much lime & there's not a hint of mango other than a slice of dried mango as an ornament on my glass. The fish itself tho, the Vivaneau Poêle was very tasteful. Full of flavor. Moist & some crispness on the outside. The potatoes are ok, not crazy about it. The calamari was the best!!

Chicken burger was good but the rest of the dishes were lacking taste. We were also sitted in the sun & some shade would be welcome.
Google says this is a french resto? Uts a steakhouse. The steaks are aged on site. A little pricey for the area, but they are really good. Great service with a smile. Wine list is also on the pricey side.
Notre entreprise Resfab avait réservé pour 16 personnes, l'ambiance était très bien, nouriture excellente & service hors paire, notre serveuse, Pamela... nous lui donnons une étoile Michelin pour le service impécable & la présentation du menus sa gentillesse,( elle aime sont travail) & sont sourire. Nous y retournerons
