Display Allcroissant(159) roll(66) pistachio(44) pastries(35) sweet(25) chocolate(24) coffee(24) filling(21) pistache(19)The pastries were absolutely incredible. We tried the red velvet croissant which was so delicious without being too rich or sweet, we loved it so much we had to get more for the road! Also the coffees are really smooth & balance their sweet treats perfectly.View more
La Cave à Manger is one of those places you might stroll past without realizing what you're missing-but stepping inside is like uncovering a little slice of culinary delight in the heart of the Old Port. Though the space is small, they've packed it full of mouthwatering treats that make every visit a pleasure.
Their selection of baked goods is outstanding, but if you try just one thing, make it their circular stuffed croissants. The combination of flaky, buttery pastry with irresistible fillings is something you simply have to taste to believe. My girlfriend & I have been here a few times, & it never disappoints-each visit leaves us planning our next stop for another bite.
The service is just as impressive as the food. The staff are friendly & attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. & while the prices might be a bit higher than what you'd find in the suburbs, they perfectly match the Old Port's upscale vibe, with quality that more than justifies the cost.
La Cave à Manger may be easy to overlook at first glance, but once you experience it, you'll understand why it consistently earns a spot on our must-visit list.View more
The cappuccino was really good. So was the red velvet croissant & yes the server!View more
Meilleur chocolat chaud à l'ube de Montréal ♥? malheureusement plus de croissant éclaire à mon passage mais je repasserai ♥?View more
A tiny place that we decided to stop by. We got 2 items, a cookie & a croissant. Both were really great & tasted fresh. The place is small & not a massive amount of stuff to choose from, but whatever is available will be really good & fresh. I would definitely consider coming back for a quick bite if I'm ever in the area.View more
Hidden below the market, this place seems like a hole in the wall kinda hidden gem Tried the croissant roll here & it was so good . The crust of the croissant is so nice & crispy but it can be abit jelat eating them all by yourself. Best to share it with people :)View more
Best cozy cafe in old Montreal. Must try their hot chocolate with homemade marshmallow & they have best pistachio croissant.View more
Great place! Best croissants I have ever tasted! Will definitely be back for more soonView more
This place is ridiculously expensive. Almost $10 for a croissant is insane, but honestly, it's worth it. The almond chocolatine is one of the best pastries I've ever had. Definitely worth a visit for a splurge on a sweet treat. It's busy & crowded & there's not much room to sit down in the winter.View more
their famous round stuffed croissants did not disappoint! We opted for the crème brûlée croissant, & let me tell you, it was incredibly filling-so much so that we're not sure it's meant for a single person to tackle in one sitting! The combination of the flaky pastry & the rich, creamy filling was a match made in heaven. In addition to the croissants, we couldn't resist trying their hot chocolate, & we loved the variety of flavors available. We chose the Matcha hot chocolate, but there are also options like ube & pumpkin spice, each topped with a giant roasted marshmallow that adds a fun & delicious twist. It was chocolate was rich & comforting, making it the perfect companion to our croissant. We're already planning our return trip to try their other croissant flavors. If you're in the area, this bakery is definitely worth a visit for a truly indulgent treat!View more
Nous sommes dans le vieux, mais c'est quand même juste une boulangerie 12$ pour une baguette & deux croissants, c'est franchement exagéré au niveau prix.View more
Best red velvet croissant with hot coco ever. Must try!View more
Our favorite croissant in Montreal! Great place to stop for a bite & espresso in old Montreal!View more
The almond croissant is ridiculous. So fresh, so tender!! Must be the best in CanadaView more
Pistachio croissant was yummy & big, very much shareable between people :P Pepperoni pizza was alright, loaded of pepperoni which is great, but they were not crispy enough. The iced chai latte wasn't that good, it wasn't strong enough & tasted too milky. The service was a little off, a little rude:( except for when I talked to the owner, he was super sweet!View more
if you're going to go anywhere to get a supreme croissant, let it be la cave à manger! the pistachio supreme croissant was to die for! buttery, flaky, soft, earthy & sweet. much MUCH better than duc de lorraine.... i didn't stay to eat but the patio was super cute & service was very friendlyView more
Super disappointing for a 10$ red velvet croissant.. I was so excited to try but it was So dry & felt like its been sitting there for at least 3 days .. i dont mind the price but at least make something fresh or good with it..View more
Good place to try croissants & coffee. Tried pistachio roll . Too much cream in my opinion as it overpowers the taste of the roll itself. Coffee was ok.View more
We stopped in to order some pastries for dessert. The chocolatine/pain au chocolat was very good. The pistachio & strawberry matcha croissant(?) rolls were good too. They tasted great, but the bavarois/filling's consistency wasn't what I expected. Overall, a neat bakery in a nice setting.View more
Their famous pistachio croissant looked better than its taste. I was very very disappointed for paying 12.5 CAD for thisView more
Not surprisingly, I am back here for the second morning in a row. La Cave a Manger is a tiny, unassuming bakery that may well be the best find of my two week sojourn in Canada. I stumbled upon wonderfully fresh & tasty oceanside seafood in Newfoundland, an astonishing 7-course tasting menu on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, & oysters & a panko crusted haddock burger done perfectly on Prince Edward Island, but the pastries & bread here are simply world-class. At the risk of slipping into a food coma today, I am back to have another three pastries here & to take away at least six croissants & a couple loaves of bread. The service has been warm, friendly, & responsive each time I have been here, & it has both a cute little seating area inside & a larger patio space outside. I will be back.View more
We came for the croissants, & they were fantastic! Whike our trip was crpissant-centric; there was a broad selection of items in the shop along with the baked goods. When we arrived, we were unsure about what to order but the staff were very patient & kind. Not much space inside the boulangerie, but a lovely patio seating area just outside.View more
If you don't look carefully, you will completely miss out on this place. It's a must visit, the croissants are not cheap, but they are..... How should I say it.... HEAVEN. Ordered the pistachio croissant.View more
View more
I tried a rounded matcha croissant which was really good, there's a little terrase to eat & in the night it looks really nice. I would go again to try other things.View more
