Tacos are always great but last time I went they served me dry meat for my tacos Al pastor & reheated tortillas clearly from the day before. The waitress said it was her new tortilla process but cmon I was with my Mexican friends & they know they're food. Definitely was disappointed, not sure I'll be back.
The Tacos Carnitas & Pastor with fresh guacamole & sliced fresh jalapenos are absolutely solid & amazing! & the servicers are so friendly & accommodating. It's a must do for Mexican food in Montreal...

As a Mexican I was totally in love with the food, the salsas & he cute little patio Great experience in general, super friendly service & fresh ingredients Special mention for the authentic & super flavourful chilorio & chicharrón!!!!!!
I reviewed this restaurant 5 star a year ago But is just getting worse I had to change my review unfortunately I'm customer almost every week I ordered over phone arrived after 30 min order not ready waited more than 15 min then asking the girl (she was new for me first time seeing her) she told me she can't tell when will be ready I left then. They can't manage orders & customer is important u can't behave like what ever also u can still see my old review below......... Amazing real Mexican taco my boyfriend Alex ordered today for his birthday we enjoyed u have made our day always top quality staff really nice we order once a week Thank you because u respect client
Ribeye not worth it. Pastor is great. Birria was good. You probably won't be full. Did a mini "food tour" with my Mexican family & went to a couple taco spots in town. The ribeye tacos were very underwhelming. The meat was 3/5. I got 3 of what was is in the photo plus a "grilled green onion" that was soggy. If you want authentic Mexican tacos, this specific dish ain't it. These are NOT worth what you get. Birria tacos were good. Not "out of this world!", but good & authentic. Tastes like what you would have at a family get together in Mexico. The pastor tacos were legit & very good. EASILY the best of the 3. If you want authentic Mexican tacos then I highly recommend this order. Overall first impression this place was okay. Didn't completely live up to the hype but I could give it 4 stars if their carnitas are good. Ribeyes were disappointing & pastor was really good so 3 is fair. Good music, nice atmosphere. Staff was good. Would return. Will try carnitas!
They seem to have moved to a daily menu style, at least for lunch, which makes for a fun rotating experience. I had the Birria - great stuff & I wish they gave more consommé, as well as a giant shrimp taco which was actually one of my favorite things to have tried. Solid Mexican spot in town!
Originally from California & we came to visit from Arizona & found this spot after craving some Mexican food... very similar to our favorite spots in Arizona & California & I highly recommend. Both of their salsas are excellent. Their tacos of Carnitas were good & also the quesabirria! The Paloma drink was awesome also! Their tortilla chips were authentic!

As a mexican this place feels like home, awesome food, excelent service & drinks were so good, you shouldn't leave without trying pastor tacos & tres leche cake
Loved it & would come back anytime for some authentic mexican food. The shrimp tacos & frijoles were my favorites. They also carry NA beers & do mocktails which is a huge bonus. However it's a very popular spot so there was a bit of waiting involved. Still, if you're in the mood for some tacos it's a good spot.
Delicious tacos & great service. I came here with 6 other friends & they were able to find a table for us at the patio. The tacos were delicious & they also have some cool specials, & had plenty of plant-based options for my vegetarian friend. Comfy place to chat & enjoy some Mexican.
It seems like such an odd little place; a mexican restaurant in the heart of chinatown.
But we were pleasantly surprised by this place! We had the quesadilla & margaritas. It was so good that we came back the next day for 2nds. Would def recommend the shrimp tacos.

Last night, my boyfriend & I decided to venture into the world of Mexican cuisine. We opted for an authentic street food-style restaurant, & La Capital Tacos had everything we were looking for. I'm already looking forward to going back next time.
These are the best tacos I have had outside of Mexico. This is the place to go if you want authentic Mexican with a friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend the Birria tacos!
