I went for the third time last night & the tacos are amazing every time! My favourite ones are the birria tacos :)
My friend & I shared a Quesadilla too, it was delicious!
Not only was the food great, but our waitress Sonia was really funny & a great vibe to end the day with!

Returned after 5+ years & was disappointed. The food quality seems to have gone downhill, & my friends all agreed. The birria tacos came without cheese, & the medium guacamole portion was small with no option for a large.
Drinks were good, but with so many great Mexican spots in Montreal, this one didn't stand out. Hopefully it was just an off night.

Incredible tacos! The Peuvre au Pastor was delicious & fresh, the Thon Aplati was so well balanced, & light, & the Taco Doré de Marlin was juicy, & just the perfect portion size. The RIBEYE tacos, the Carnitas, the Capechena, & the Birria were all phenomenal, would definitely make this a regular stop if I lived here. Super busy on weekends so make a reservation in advance. If you are looking for dessert get the Tres leches cake, c'est bon.
Ordered the Birria Tacos & the Tres Leches Cake. Just perfection. Service was fast paced & efficient!! Gotta make a reservation. I was lucky to find a spot in the bar! I give this place 5 mexican flags 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Authentic Mexican tacos in the heart of Chinatown in Montreal! Cochinita Pibil, Pastor & Birria tacos were great. Really good chips & guac. Very friendly staff, she even offered me a bite of her Papas con Veneno! ❤?

Tacos birria très goûteux & portion généreuse. Le consommé est excellent, parfaitement piquant. Seul gros bémol est que les tortillas ne sont pas'cuites' dans le consommé. C'est une tortilla souple pour taco normal.
Comida para llevar , lunes por la noche despues de un dia muy largo , no conosco sus horarios , pase un pedido y lo acceptaron , pero al parecer ya estaban de salida , y sacaron todo del refrigerador , y lo mal empaquetaron pues la bolsa de papel venia rota de tanta grasa que salia por todos lados,.no se si fue la manipulacion del contuctor de uber que la haya puesto boca abajo o realmente solo fue mal cerrada con exceso de grasa , dificil decir pues la.bolsa estaba empapada de lo que creo era caldo de birria , despues de recibir un paquete asi... literalmente chorriando por todos lados es dificil empezar a comer con gusto asi que si trato de ser lo mas objetivo quitando que la comida estaba realmente fria , los empaques sucios y la comanda incompleta, podria decir que esta 6 de 10 , falta de sal al pastor y salsa arbor que se cobra extra no pica nada.... casi nunca pido refrescos pero ahora se me antojo una coca mexicana de vidrio....por 5 dolarsotes!!! Y me mandaron una big cola de lata o algo parecido... muy mala experiencia , la verdad hubiera preferido que cancelaran mi.comanda y buscar otra opcion o hacerme unos huevitos aqui en la casa ... ahora a dormir frustrado despues de pagar caro y tener que aventarme a limpiar mi casa por toda la.suciedad que se rego desde las escaleras... lo que se supone ser un servicio para facilitarte la.cocinada salio muy mal ... Claremente no volvere a pedir y este mensaje realmente creo se lo merecen, las fotos las subir Ala pagina del uber por si creen que exagero.....
I ordered from La Capital Tacos via UberEats & overall had a great experience. The portions were generous & everything arrived well-packaged & intact; clearly a lot of care went into the prep & delivery. The quality of the food was solid, & the delivery was prompt.
The birria tacos were tasty, but they missed the cilantro, which took away from the full flavor experience I was expecting. Additionally, the beef bone broth lacked depth, it just didn't have that rich, savory punch that usually makes birria so special.
That said, everything else hit the mark, & I'd definitely order again. Just hoping for a bit more attention to the details next time!
I wish I could say this restaurant was a must since the food was so good. However, the service was so bad we won't return. We made a reservation but our table was not ready & we had to wait for one to be free. Our server made us wait a while before ordering drinks & food, & he was going to other tables to take their order even if they arrived after us. He didn't check on us one time after we ordered & received our food. We never got utensils & napkins, even though every other table had them? We couldn't even ask our server for napkins. My friend never received her drink & we had no chance to tell him since he was not checking on us at all. We had to tell him after we received the check that she was charged the drink without receiving it. We wanted to ask for more chips & we couldn't find a way to get his attention so we never got them. We were clearly celebrating a birthday & he didn't even mention it, even though he asked the girls next to us if it was their birthday & offered them a round of shots on the house when they said yes. The food was very good except for the birria tacos. Sadly, good food does not make up for terrible service!

Hands down my favourite find for tacos in Montreal, late night drive helped me find this gem with my friends. Drinks & tacos were absolutely delicious & I strongly recommend the birria tacos as they were so tender & the salsa was just fantastic. Strongly recommend stopping here for tacos when you are in Montreal.
Great location to eat, many of the servers speak spanish so I liked that a lot. Birria tacos where great & also the Flan & the Banana frita. Great place to go eat some good tacos & if you drink you will also like it
Underwhelming & lacking flavour. Mealy & pasty tortilla shells. Cheese is extra on some tacos, & not even an option on others. Flavourless consommé. I enjoyed the quesadilla, but the birria was bordering on inedible.
Really excellent tacos, guac & drinks. Good service despite being busy. We got a spicy margarita, paloma, guac & chips, birria tacos & mushroom tacos (forget the menu name), all 10/10

The birria needs a lot of work. The beef is way too dry but the consommé is very good. The al pastor is a big highlight. Its so good. Everything else on the menu is excellent.
Ribeye not worth it. Pastor is great. Birria was good. You probably won't be full. Did a mini "food tour" with my Mexican family & went to a couple taco spots in town. The ribeye tacos were very underwhelming. The meat was 3/5. I got 3 of what was is in the photo plus a "grilled green onion" that was soggy. If you want authentic Mexican tacos, this specific dish ain't it. These are NOT worth what you get. Birria tacos were good. Not "out of this world!", but good & authentic. Tastes like what you would have at a family get together in Mexico. The pastor tacos were legit & very good. EASILY the best of the 3. If you want authentic Mexican tacos then I highly recommend this order. Overall first impression this place was okay. Didn't completely live up to the hype but I could give it 4 stars if their carnitas are good. Ribeyes were disappointing & pastor was really good so 3 is fair. Good music, nice atmosphere. Staff was good. Would return. Will try carnitas!
They seem to have moved to a daily menu style, at least for lunch, which makes for a fun rotating experience. I had the Birria - great stuff & I wish they gave more consommé, as well as a giant shrimp taco which was actually one of my favorite things to have tried. Solid Mexican spot in town!
Les tacos birrias super décevant .. pas grillés , pas de fromage & pas de goût . Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est. Service trop rapide & on n'a jamais reçu notre entrée , bref on n'y retournera pas.
