I visited La Cage last night because I was looking forward to watching the tennis match. The staff were super nice, & I really liked the ambiance & overall atmosphere.

However, I was honestly very surprised-& disappointed-by the fries that came with the burger. They were burnt, inconsistent, & clearly not fresh. This isn't the first time either. I visited La Cage many years ago, & I remember having the same issue with low-quality, overcooked fries.

Unfortunately, after the meal, I also had a stomachache for the entire night, which made the experience even more disappointing.

I understand investing in the décor & creating a nice atmosphere, but guys… it's fries! Even McDonald's knows how to make fries consistently fresh, crispy, & appealing.

La Cage has clearly invested a lot in the look & ambiance of the restaurant. I just wish the same attention was given to something as basic-& important-as the food on the plate.

I LOVE this place. Of course, it's the perfect spot to watch any sports game (hockey, baseball, soccer, etc...), but, really, this is my go-to venue for any occasion. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about it.
Atmosphere: I have been to many La Cage locations, but this one is truly the best. Nice layout, huge screens, & so many TVs all around that you always have a great view.
Food & drinks: So tasty. My favorites: chicken wings, burgers, pizzas, nachos, & the tuna tataki bowl, just to name a few. They also have a nice selection of beer-always fresh.
Staff: The best part & the main reason why I love this place. I have never had a negative experience with any of them. In fact, they make our time here so much better. Simon is the best; he makes sure we have an amazing time every single visit. & kudos to Vince, Sara, Margarita, Alex, & all the others whose names I can't remember (sorry!).
They also have nice specials almost every day, plus a great point system & perks on their app.
For those visiting Montreal, the location can't be better. Right at the festival site (Quartier des Spectacles) on Sainte-Catherine street.

Le service était nul , the chicken wings were heated in the microwave & not fresh at all the chicken burger was over fried & the waitress was very rude we gave her tip & she had the nerves to ask for more trying to embarrass us front of people while we left her tip she wanted more , In Quebec, tips are voluntary unless a mandatory service charge was clearly included beforehand , I'm very very disappointed I will be avoiding this place next time

I visited La Cage - Brasserie Sportive at Complexe Desjardins yesterday with my sister. I ordered the Blitz Burger & also had the 8 free wings from the promotion after a Montreal Canadiens win.
Unfortunately later that night I became very sick with vomiting & diarrhea that lasted into the next day. I can't say for certain what caused it, but the timing after the meal was concerning. I hope the restaurant reviews its food preparation & handling.

Pour l'accueil très bien ,le serveur Julien correct ,
Pour la nourriture très déçu surtout que mes attentes etait très élevé par rapport a la bouffe car jetais un client régulier environ une fois semaine Depuis juillet dernier jetais pas allé
& honnêtement sa va être mon dernier choix de resto pour la nourriture
Calmars goûtait l'huile pas changé
Bouchées choux fleurs pas appétissant (mous)
Burger tiède Frites détrempées dans huile
Le vin volcanes & deux bières excellent
Pour deux 160.50$
Disons une mauvaise journée pour les cuisiniers de la cage samedi 4 octobre

I only post honest reviews. This sports bar is outstanding! I had a burger, my wife had a salad. The food was delicious. Possibly the best burger I've ever had. Fantastic value for money. The staff are spot on. I would like to say I would come here often, but unfortunately I live in a different continent!

Super service !! L'equipe a vraiment été au soin jusqu'au bout! Nous avons pris des minis burger de bison & des tacos de poissons c'était un régal pour les deux!!! Vraiment je recommande cette place !

Mon expérience était bien. Bon service, très bon burger végé. Mayo a l'intérieur à t'elle des oeufs? Les frites!!!!!!!! Non, c'est les pires de toutes ma vie. Svp quand vous blanchissez, faites le juste un peu, si non ça goûte les frites réchauffées. TROP cuites, trop dures & sèches... j n ai mangé juste une sur un plat à 23$... seul point négatif, qui fait quand même la moitié de l'assiette....
