I'm writing this review to advise others about how confusing game nights can be at this location. I live nearby, so it's usually my go-to place when I feel like watching a game.
In the past, I was told that there are no reservations for the bar section & that it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Because of that, I came early specifically to request a booth so I could secure the table I wanted. However, when I arrived, I was told I couldn't have the booth because it was reserved - which contradicts what I had previously been told about not being able to reserve those tables.
The hostess then said she could gladly give me another table. I mentioned that I was there to watch the game, which is why I wanted that specific seating area. I ordered my drink, only to find out afterward that I would have to leave by 6:30 because they needed the table.
The manager came over & explained there had been a misunderstanding, but that I still needed to leave because the table was reserved. As a result, I had to quickly finish my drink & leave.
I place the responsibility for this situation on the manager & the hostess. The waiter, however, was very nice, polite, & even excused himself for the situation - kudos to him.
Unfortunately, this experience left me with a bittersweet feeling about this location.

En revanche, l'uniforme des jeunes filles au bar & à l'accueil soulève un réel malaise. Des robes très moulantes avec les jambes nues, portées par des employées mineures, dans un contexte où certains clients adultes se permettent des regards insistants.
C'est gênant & inapproprié.
Un établissement de cette crédibilité peut certainement faire mieux & adopter des choix plus respectueux pour ses employées.

Bon service & assez rapide, le personnel travaille en équipe. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. & les plats étaient chaud. Un peu bruyant mais ca reste un bar sportif. Notre serveuse était attentionnée.
Great sportsbar, big screens, lively atmosphere. Staff were all super friendly & helpful. Ate at the bar. Had the beef teriyaki - little underdone for my liking (bit of CPR I think it may have recovered!) - but was still nice meal.
It started out well. The front door host was very cheerful & friendly, offering free popcorn & directing us to the bar. After a few drinks, we decided to order some food since a few of the dishes I saw going by looked quite appealing. We ordered buffalo chicken wings, a poutine, & an onion soup.
The onion soup was good but not very hot, but at least it had decent flavour. The buffalo wings, however, were lacking both buffalo sauce & seasoning. The poutine was the biggest disappointment: it arrived cold, the fries were soggy (some even felt chilled), the cheese curds were still cold, & the sauce had already coagulated. I tried to bring this up with the servers, but they all seemed busy doing other things.
We ended up eating the soup & wings since they were at least passable, but I couldn't bring myself to attempt more than a bite of the poutine. When I finally got a server's attention, I mentioned the issue. She did offer to have a new one made, but by then I was done. Hard to believe the worst poutine I've ever had was in the very city it's famous for.
When the bill arrived, I noticed the poutine had been removed, so at least they made an effort to address the situation.
Overall, it's a good spot for beers as they have a great selection on tap, but I'd recommend eating somewhere else.

I only post honest reviews. This sports bar is outstanding! I had a burger, my wife had a salad. The food was delicious. Possibly the best burger I've ever had. Fantastic value for money. The staff are spot on. I would like to say I would come here often, but unfortunately I live in a different continent!

A totally fine sports bar. Free popcorn which is a nice touch but if you sit at the bar you barely get any refills on the popcorn. Slightly overpriced but not terrible.
Came to watch Stanley Cup playoffs . It was in French here. Very annoying when no French team in the playoffs. Everyone there probably speaks English yet they refuse to play it in English . Yet all other sports bars played the games in English
You can get 3 dollar shots before an event at the bell center & have a special entrance to the stadium from the bar.... if that's not enough for 5 stars add in great bar food for beyond reasonable prices

It's a sport bar restaurant. At the entrance they gave us free pop corn, a nice touch. We tried white sangria & cage blonde beer with onion soup & steak frites. The onion soup crotons has too much butter flavor but overall the soup was great. The steak was too raw & we asked to cook a little bit & no problem at all. Our server was so kind & friendly. Nice place with big screens with sport channel & inside the mall.
Je suis allée à la Cage dimanche le 3 novembre. Nous étions 8. Arrivée à 17h00 & départ autour de 19h00. La nourriture nous la connaissons puisque nous visitons régulièrement les Cage de plusieurs villes. C'est très bon, je ne suis jamais déçue. Cette fois-ci c'est plutôt au niveau du service. Dans l'ensemble tout se passait assez bien. Sur 8, 2 personnes ont reçu leur assiette une dizaine de minutes après les autres. Rien de grave peut-être moins d'employés à la cuisine ou sur le plancher. Les cafés brésilien & espagnol par contre très long & nous devions quitter pour un spectacle que nous avions mentionné dès notre arrivée. La mousse du café était presque disparu lorsque nous les avons reçu sans cuillère & serviettes. En fait, de notre place nous pouvions les voir en attente sur le bar depuis plusieurs minutes. Ce qui m'a vraiment interpellé c'est plutôt l'attitude de la serveuse lorsque j'ai payé. D'abord elle a dû refaire les factures à 3 reprises pourtant nous avions 3 factures pour 8 personnes. Elle se mélangeait avec les 2 bouteilles de vin & les entrées. Lorsque j'ai payé finalement ma facture avec 2 bouteilles de vin en lui disant ok c'est beau laisse faire je vais les payer sur ma facture plutôt qu'elle fasse encore une autre facture pour tout le monde. J'ai inscrit un montant de pourboire de 25$ sur un total de $256.39 elle m'a demandé: "C'est quoi madame vous n'êtes pas satisfait de mon service?" J'ai vraiment resté surprise! J'ai répondu: "Je trouve ça vraiment dommage de devoir me justifier mais, je ne trouve pas pertinent de donner 18% de pourboire sur ma facture, alors qu'il y a 100$ de vin & 34$ de taxes sur ma facture. Deux boissons gazeuses & 2 bouteilles de vin à twist cap sont semblables au niveau du service. Les restaurateurs trouvent que les gens ne vont plus dans les restaurants. Peut-être se questionner à ce sujet serait une bonne chose! Pourquoi donner du pourboire par dessus les taxes en plus prix des bouteilles par rapport au prix de la SAQ.
good sports bar. they serve you popcorn when you're seated which is a nice touch. Lili & Saliha were very nice & professional. I definitely recommend the tartare duo.
All in all, not a bad experience. If you're interested in a quaint Montreal experience, this isn't for you. It looks like every other upscale sports bar. But that was fine for us. Grab a basket of popcorn for starters. Then we had a couple beers & ordered a bacon, sausage & onion pizza (pidzz). It was pretty good. Service was good but the bartenders were running around like crazy.
