Nous sommes allés à deux profiter de l'ouverture des terrasses à La Cage pour prendre un verre.
L'accueil à l'entrée a été vraiment chaleureux, & nous avons été installés en terrasse par Lili, qui s'est occupée de nous toute la soirée avec beaucoup de professionnalisme. Le service était honnêtement excellent, rien à redire de ce côté-là.
Par contre, au niveau des cocktails. On a été assez surpris par les prix dès le départ. On a commencé avec un pichet en version'double' à 48 $, en s'attendant à quelque chose de bien dosé… mais au final, ça goûtait surtout le jus de fruit.
On a voulu redonner une chance en commandant un autre pichet, cette fois le cocktail annoncé comme le plus fort. Résultat : un goût très proche d'un simple coca. On se demande si le fait de l'avoir demandé sans glaçons a pu jouer, mais dans tous les cas, ce n'était clairement pas à la hauteur du prix.
Au final, la facture dépasse les 100 $ par personne pour des consommations qui manquaient clairement d'alcool, ce qui laisse une impression assez décevante.
À noter quand même : la bière (double IPA) était très bonne, avec du caractère, même si elle reste un peu chère.
C'est vraiment dommage, parce que la qualité du service était au rendez-vous. Ça enlève un peu le goût de laisser un bon tip, alors que la serveuse, elle, le méritait clairement.
C'est première fois pour moi. Mais pour mon conjoint & ses amis, plus que fois. Un peu cher mais bon quantité, aussi plus proche d'aller le théâtre. Un peu bruyant, regarde le match, c'est bonne ambiance.
as someone Visiting Montreal & working at a steakhouse restaurant at home. This restaurant gave great steakhouse/Pub/Bar Vibes. Foods great & the servers are very polite & helpful. & the service was great for a quick dine in experience.

J'y ai mangé tartare de boeuf & tartare de saumon en duo & ce n'était vraiment pas bon. Première fois de ma vie que je ne termines pas une assiette. Beaucoup trop acidifié. Décevant.
Mauvaise gestion de réservation: plein des tables vides & clients refusés pour des heures… Simple suggestion d'avoir « walk in » aussi. Dommage, c'était toujours une belle place à prend un verre.

Super belle place , on avait réservé d'avance car gros événement à la place des arts . La nourritures étaient délicieuses . Le service de jacob était parfait . Beau sourire jeune homme attentionné . Le service était rapide .
I think reading the reviews people are confused about what La Cage is about. It's not about the best meal you'll ever eat. It's about an amazing atmosphere to watch a sporting event. Great service, great atmosphere, decent food & drinks. If this is your understanding & expectation it is 5 stars all the way. If your focus is quality of food & drink then there are many better option. Personally we loved our experience watching the Canadiens kick butt & we would definitely return.

Got food poisoning here. I would really question their food quality & hygiene after this bad experience. This is not the first time, & others have had the same experience here. Beware.
I'm writing this review to advise others about how confusing game nights can be at this location. I live nearby, so it's usually my go-to place when I feel like watching a game.
In the past, I was told that there are no reservations for the bar section & that it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Because of that, I came early specifically to request a booth so I could secure the table I wanted. However, when I arrived, I was told I couldn't have the booth because it was reserved - which contradicts what I had previously been told about not being able to reserve those tables.
The hostess then said she could gladly give me another table. I mentioned that I was there to watch the game, which is why I wanted that specific seating area. I ordered my drink, only to find out afterward that I would have to leave by 6:30 because they needed the table.
The manager came over & explained there had been a misunderstanding, but that I still needed to leave because the table was reserved. As a result, I had to quickly finish my drink & leave.
I place the responsibility for this situation on the manager & the hostess. The waiter, however, was very nice, polite, & even excused himself for the situation - kudos to him.
Unfortunately, this experience left me with a bittersweet feeling about this location.
Friendly, efficient service. Large screen for watching sports but blasting modern country music. My cocktail was delightfully strong but unbalanced in flavour; my friend found his fish tacos mediocre.
