Had a group event at Kif Kif & had an overall great experience. The service was very good especially considering that it is a newer restaurant. Portions were generous & had no complaints on the food from any of our 13 guests. That is a great sign. Looking forward to going back.
Delicious food, great cocktails, & nice atmosphere. Wait staff was very friendly & gave good suggestions of what to order & how many dishes. We will definitely be going back.
The ambiance was delightfully relaxed with soft lighting & background music. We were greeted enthusiastically, & our coats were checked efficiently. Every dish we picked was exquisite - hard to pick a favourite.
The braised lamb, salmon skewers, & Moroccan cigars were favourites. The serving staff were friendly & efficient. Highly recommended! We will certainly be
back!
A wonderful dining experience!7
Delicious dinner & drinks at the new Kif Kif. The atmosphere was great & it was a rocking scene! Can't wait for my next delicious meal there. Highly recommend!
We absolutely loved everything about Kif Kif. This is the best addition to the neighborhood. Everything was delicious but the starters were the absolute stars.
Experienced barmaid, lovely & professional.
Great ambiance, that feeling when everyone seems so happy to be there. We'll be back so much!
We had a great time. Food & service excellent. Atmosphere as well. Thanks!
11/10! Je ne comprends pas les mauvais commentaires (des personnes probablement juste méchantes!). Tout est DÉLICIEUX! J'y étais avec 4 amies & nous sommes comblées!
This is the first time I write a review, we enjoy eating out & have our go to restaurants. We were excited to try a new restaurant in our neighborhood. Kif kif was more than a disappointment. The food was not good, served lukewarm, over priced, taste profil off, chicken tasteless & undercooked.
The hostess was amazing, but there is not much you can do when the food is really bad.
Une excellente expérience dans ce nouveau restaurant de Westmount. Cuisine délicieuse, service courtois & sympathique. Les dips sont magnifiques & que dire des cigares marocains. Il est certain que nous allons revenir!
I was heavily anticipating a delicious meal & our entire party was not even close to being disappointed. In fact, Kif Kif was able to take us on a Mediterranean journey unique unto its own. From the moment we walked in & were greeted by Nadine (hostess) & Dan himself (chef who happened to be up front at the time) to the extremely courteous service of our sever Abby, the hospitality was perfect. Of course, the true highlight was the series of dishes we were treated to. The dips are a must (all three). Hummous was creamy & authentic, the Muhammara was a table favorite & the carried eggplant was out of this world. But what really tied it all together was the pastry like Pita bread that came out of an authentic Italian oven, piping hot & fresh & would literally melt in your mouth.
We then moved on to other divine sharing dishes like the ever so tender flank steak skewers, the signature chicken schnitzel & the raw salmon which makes any other ceviche look mundane & plain. The meal was also complemented with crunchy slaw, smashed potoes & a fantastic zucchini labneh side that popped.
Mission accomplished...everyone was stuffed, but you know what they say:'Everyone has room for dessert'. So we indulged & we went with Dan's suggestions. The table shared the chocolate Terrie with Halva, a milk pudding drizzled with the perfect amount of rose water, & a chocolate Babke which was the star of the show.
We rolled out of Kif Kif extremely satisfied needless to say & with the wine (& a cocktail) the bill seemed fair. Thank you again to Dan & his team. If you have not yet experienced this local wonder, you should make your rezzie now. We will be back 10000%.
Our family had the absolute pleasure of dining at Kif Kif during our visit to Montreal, & it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We discovered the restaurant online the day before & decided to stop by in person to check availability. Not only were we warmly greeted, but we had the chance to meet the manager, Pierre, who made us feel instantly welcome. When we returned for dinner tonight, he greeted us with the same kindness, setting a wonderful tone for the evening.
The moment we walked in, the restaurant looked absolutely stunning - beautifully prepared & ready for guests. Within minutes of opening, the space filled up, a clear sign that this place is well-loved. We were taken care of by Avalon, an incredibly lovely, kind, & attentive host who made us feel at home from start to finish.
We ordered a selection of dishes to share: hummus, Moroccan cigars, green salad, & three types of skewers - chicken, salmon, & beef. Truly, every single dish was exceptional. Each plate was thoughtfully prepared, rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, & beautifully presented. You can feel the care & passion in every bite.
Kif Kif is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression. The warm hospitality, stunning atmosphere, & delicious food all came together to create an unforgettable experience. We'll absolutely be returning on our next trip to Montreal.
Thank you, Kif Kif team, for such a wonderful evening, & wishing you all the very best!
The ambiance is beautiful, the service is fast & friendly & most importantly the food was delicious. Make sure to get the Hummus & Schnitzel, they can't be missed & were the standouts for me. I can't wait to come back!
The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance that made for a nice dining experience. The appetizers were delightful, bursting with flavor. However, the main courses were a bit disappointing; the chicken schnitzel was bland, & the rice lacked seasoning. On the plus side, the beef was perfectly tender, which was a highlight of the meal. It's worth mentioning that the pita bread was fresh, but be prepared to pay $5 for each pita
Things were done right at Kif Kif, & hopefully they'll keep these high standards for a long time. We ordered the moist & tender Spotty Pitas, Hummus, Muhammara, & Raw Salmon to start, followed by the whole Sea Bream & Tahdig as mains.
We loved the depth of tangy, smoky flavors that really define this chef's cooking, especially noticeable in the Muhammara, the fish sauce, & the Tahdig. The dish that truly stood out was the Raw Salmon: sashimi-style slices of fresh salmon prepared in a ceviche-like way. Outstanding!
For dessert, we had the Babka. It wasn't the traditional moist style we expected, but this version was still enjoyable.
The restaurant's design is also very interesting, filled with small framed photographs that tell a story. Service was professional & friendly.
All in all, a great accomplishment for a restaurant that opened only recently.
Amazing food! The eggplant dip was out of this world! I also loved the cocktails!
