Afficher toutthai(241) authentic(62) rice(57) recommend(50) pad thai(48) salad(38) curry(30) sticky(29) sticky rice(28) chicken(28) papaya(26) highly recommend(25)I recently visited Thai Khao San & loved their papaya salad & mango sticky rice! The papaya salad was a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, & spicy, with crisp green papaya & a satisfying crunch from the peanuts. The mango sticky rice was heavenly-soft, sweet rice paired with juicy, ripe mango & creamy coconut drizzle. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. Highly recommend for an authentic Thai dining experience!
Excellent restaurant Thai, le service est impeccable & les plats sont excellents. L'intérieur est peut être un peu plus humble, ( très bien décoré & propre) dans le sens où j'irai manger avec des potes mais pas un diner romantique. Je recommande
Brought me right back in Thailand. Best Thai food have had in MTL in years, maybe ever. Tom Yum & Kha soup are incredibly flavorfull with a rich brooth. Not fusion style, really authentic.
Great food! Spring rolls were delicious & my Tom yum soup was perfect for a cold evening. My friend really enjoyed the pad Thai & said it tasted light & fresh.
What a nice surprise! I eat often in thai restaurants & this one is the best of the best for food, service & ambiance. Its my place to go from now on. The owner is very welcoming too. 10/10
Real authentic thai food, not to expensive! We had Pad Thai & Chicken cashew nut & both was super yummy. Service was super nice, too. We loved it!
Authentic Thai food cooked by Thai chefs! I tried the papaya salad (ส้มตำ) with a side of sticky rice (ข้าวเหนียว), larb gai tod (ลาบไก่ทอด) & pad thai (ผัดไทย), which were all so good, like the ones I ate in Thailand. The pad thai is freshly fried & you can see the frying action live with bursts of fire (evidence of an amazing fried dish)!! For chilli lovers/haters, you can also customise the spiciness of your food by telling the staff when ordering. For those who love stronger & super local Thai flavours, I recommend ordering the papaya salad with salted crab (ส้มตำปูปลาร้า) & the papaya salad platter (ตำถาด) . The papaya salad with salted crab has more umami & a saltier flavour profile while the papaya salad platter features delicious side dishes like crispy pork belly (หมูทอด), Thai fish cakes (ทอดมันปลา) & a unique Thai fermented pork (แหนม). Both of these are not on the menu but they can cook it for you if ordered! Overall, my experience with the food & service here was superb, not to mention how the restaurant is conveniently located near berri-uqam station :)))
If you've been on the real Khao San road at least before 2012 or the Phi Phi & you've been disappointed in any Thai place you tried since, this is the place you gotta try. Amazing service, flavor, proper spice level (thai, not North American), proper wok hei... I've had papaya salad, basil stir fry with beef, Thai milk tea & mango sticky rice. Can't wait to go back.
We went based on Google ratings. Not authentic Thai food. Spicy is about jalapeno hot. Minced pork was sweet.
If you really need thai food here. I recommend this restaurant. From one of Thai people.
I gave this place a bad review but I went there to eat this weekend & the food was definitely much much better! I guess I had them on a bad day on uber eats! I just changed my review & recommend this place! Traditional taste like when I was in Thailand. I gave 4 stars just because my first time was bad with small portion. I guess uber eats they serve smaller portions? Or maybe they upped the portions. Thank you for improving the food! Thank you I really enjoyed my food this time!
Not my favorite Thai experience but also not the absolute worst. I got the pad thai with tofu & the vegetable egg rolls. Starting off with the egg rolls, they were tasty & generously sized, but the ramekin with the chili sauce was half full, so I had to be stingy with dipping for it to be enough for the 4 egg rolls. Very small detail, but I feel like it's not difficult to add another tablespoon of sauce. The tofu with the pad thai was dry & chewy, & while half the tofu was fried, the other half was barely fried (see pictures). Additionally, none of the tofu had any salt or seasoning, so it simply tasted bland. I love fried tofu, so this killed the mood. The pad thai itself was alright. The sauce was actually good, but I'm not sure if they added enough to disperse evenly because there would be many bites that didn't taste like anything & then many bites that tasted flavorful. Lastly, I asked for spicy, & it tasted completely regular. I can't imagine what the difference between what I ate & what mild/regular would be. I was starving, & I'm not anymore, so that's a positive, but I'd search elsewhere if I wanted a more well-rounded pad thai experience (especially if you love tofu).
Most authentic pad thai I've ever had in montreal. The bean sprouts were crunchy & the rice noodles were cooked perfectly. The red curry dish was perfectly spicy with a nice portion of rice.
