I worked in Thailand for years as an expat. This restaurant has the most authentic tasting Thai food than any other restaurant in Montreal that I have tried. Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing Thai food! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor & clearly made with care & fresh ingredients. We had the Tom Yum soup, chicken pad Thai & red curry. Portion sizes were perfect. The customer service was outstanding-warm, attentive, & genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. They helped me bring the stroller up the stairs when we arrived & when we were leaving. The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Great food, great hospitality, & a great overall experience. Highly recommend & will definitely be back!
It's an authentic Thai restaurant with truly Thai flavors. The owner & staff are Thai, so you can be confident that the food is prepared with genuine Thai taste. It was the happiest meal I've had, & beyond that, the staff are incredibly kind & provide exceptional service, making the whole dining experience truly wonderful. If you're looking for real Thai cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant-you won't be disappointed.
Khao San Resto Thai has quickly become everyone in my family's favorite food to eat! The food is incredibly authentic - fresh ingredients, bold flavors, & just the right balance of spice. Every dish reminds me of being in Thailand! You can really tell there's a lot of heart behind everything they serve. If you're looking for real Thai food in Montreal, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
Amazing. Very authentic. The Larb Gai Tod (friend chicken spicy salad) was to die for. Khao soi was great but could use more pickled mustard in my opinion. Otherwise though was still very good. Highly recommend. Food is authentic & the ladies working are very nice.
I really enjoyed my time at khao san restaurant! I ordered the pad see ew & devoured it, because it's that good. In addition, I got a Thai green milk tea, so refreshing & good I can drink this all day every day! Lastly, the server was very welcoming & friendly.
Highly recommend trying if you're in the area!👌

I come here regularly, & it never disappoints. The food is full of flavor, always fresh, & beautifully presented. You can truly taste the care in every dish. The staff is friendly & welcoming, & the space is cozy without being crowded.
I highly recommend trying their Pad Thai or any of their curry dishes - everything is full of authentic Thai spices & cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, & the prices are very fair.
It's one of those places you want to keep to yourself… but it deserves to be discovered! If you're looking for a comforting, delicious Thai meal in a calm atmosphere, this is the spot. 🙌🍜🇹🇭
Khao San Resto Thai is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. We couldn't stop eating & finished every dish we ordered. I highly recommend the Tom Kha Soup, green papaya salad, & red curry. They are all unique & full of flavor. If you are looking for authentic & tasty Thai food, this is the place to go. I wish I could lived in Montreal, so that I can go there every week!
I recently visited Thai Khao San & loved their papaya salad & mango sticky rice! The papaya salad was a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, & spicy, with crisp green papaya & a satisfying crunch from the peanuts. The mango sticky rice was heavenly-soft, sweet rice paired with juicy, ripe mango & creamy coconut drizzle. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. Highly recommend for an authentic Thai dining experience!

We were craving Thai food after a long day of sightseeing, & this was the perfect place! The food was delicious, & the staff were absolutely great! I would say that the friendly smile & attentiveness of the lady who waited on us is what made the experience truly remarkable (I regret not catching her name). I especially liked the delicious Thai Green Milk Tea, which I had never had (or seen) before, & I highly recommend it. It was nice that I could switch the jasmine rice to sticky rice on my order - just can't have enough of sticky rice! If I am ever in Montreal again, I would 100% make a beeline for this place!
Lovely new discovery! Food was absolutely delicious, flavourful & fresh. Highly recommend the nam tok (beef) & the thai iced tea. Papaya salad was too spicy for us but still good. You can modify the spice level to your preference. Staff was kind & checking up on us regularly. Will definitely be back to try more items!

This is the real deal, incredible food & lovely staff. I had pork dumplings, peanut sauce chicken & mango sticky rice - everything was incredibly delicious, highly recommend, you should come here! - Longan Juice is very tasty too - this was my first time trying it!
Visiting Montreal for the Grand Prix & was really looking for some Thai to enjoy. Came across Khao San Resto on Google Maps & placed an online order. WOW !!! The Red Curry was phenomenal as well as the Sweet & Spicy Crispy Chicken. The flavour was just wow !!! Our delivery guy was fantastic & fast too. Thank you for such a wonderful dinner. Highly recommend.
We loved the food taste here! Highly recommend the Tom Kha Soup. The basil rice & paenang curry also tasted perfectly flavourful. Will definitely come back to try the other options here as well 😍
