Oder pad kra pow with crispy pork.. over all is great taste.,BUT the Tom yam soup is a bit sugary & salty, not spicy.. I rather want the pork a bit crispier than that .. it is so crispy like in Thailand 🇹🇭 .. service the best Yes
Best Thai !! Thump up love authentic Thai food spicy was perfect add & BBQ duck red curry with stick rice , pad Thai with shrimp & Sauté aubergine au crevettes

Walked in randomly before leaving mtl, had ordered the pad gra prao, it wasn't first time trying this dish. Large portion, excellent price, very well balanced dish. Nice & spicy, salty, the egg cut through the intense seasoning. Also ordered their Thai milk tea which was super.
Spicy was not. Medium was not. Extra shrimp got me a grand total of three. Portions are small. Calamari was good. Chicken was well cooked. BBQ duck was very good. I would not return though as it was alll so bland & goopy.
Real authentic Thai food. They were so warm & welcoming just like how it is in Thailand. Coming made me feel like i was back in Thailand again. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for some real Thai food. I had the papaya salad extra extra spicy 🥵 the chicken wings were nice & crispy. The pad thai was on point
I would love to recommend Thai food here, it's very tasty & yum. Here is authentic Thai food, the owner of the restaurant has been very helpful & friendly with me as well. She made me spicy food as I requested as authentic Thai I never had it in Ottawa or Quebec

Amazing. Very authentic. The Larb Gai Tod (friend chicken spicy salad) was to die for. Khao soi was great but could use more pickled mustard in my opinion. Otherwise though was still very good. Highly recommend. Food is authentic & the ladies working are very nice.
I wasn't a fan of the way they did their fishcakes but I'm just used to a different regional variety. The service was also especially slow even though the place wasn't too busy.
The spice warnings on the menu are adjusted for the local palate. So you don't need to worry about'thai spicy' at this place.
We had the spring rolls, pad kee mao & pad see ew & requested it to be spicy. The flavors were perfect. It's the best, authentic Thai food that I've had in a while. The service was very friendly & quick.

We had an incredible dining experience at Khao San Resto Thai, & I can confidently say it's a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors in Montreal!
We ordered a variety of dishes:
• Chicken Satay
• Red Curry Chicken & Rice
• Sweet & Sour Chicken
• Tofu Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice
• Chicken Noodle Soup
• Mango Sticky Rice
Every single dish was prepared to perfection - fresh ingredients, bold flavors, & beautiful presentation. My personal favorite was the Sweet & Sour Chicken with rice. The chicken was perfectly crispy, served with bell peppers, red chilies, onions, pineapple, & carrots. It delivered that perfect balance of sweet, sour, & spicy, paired with a generous portion of rice. Absolutely delicious!
The Chicken Satay was tender & flavorful with a rich peanut sauce, & the Red Curry Rice had the right amount of heat & creaminess. The Tofu Fried Rice was well-seasoned & satisfying, & the Chicken Noodle Soup offered a comforting, aromatic broth. To top it off, the Mango Sticky Rice was the perfect sweet ending - fresh, fragrant, & beautifully plated.
& for those who enjoy a good drink, don't miss out on their famous Singha & Chang beers - authentic Thai brews that really complete the experience.
The service was fantastic - the staff were genuinely kind, attentive, & ensured we had everything we needed. Our food arrived quickly, & we felt well taken care of throughout the meal.
If you're in Montreal & craving Thai cuisine, Khao San Resto Thai is a spot you shouldn't miss. We'll definitely be coming back!
Stumbled upon this place a few months ago. It has quickly become one of my go to places. The food is amazing, I always take the papaya salad, extra spicy. I've had alot of their menu & one of my favorite dishes is the Pad kee Mao the thick rice noodles are fresh & chewy, the texture is unmatched & a rare find.
Absolutely try this place. The staff are full of smiles, polite & efficient.
I tried it again when they had a happy hour special & the food was amazing. The curry wasnt split, I asked for spicy & it was flavourful! The noodles were great, sweet spicy & sour, overall really comforting! I gave a four because I had small mistakes each time but then again, they were so nice polite & sweet on the phone I hung up with a smile. I recommend.
We visited this restaurant for authentic Thai food & they didn't disappoint us. The taste was great & the service was good, but we (as Thai people) were surprised with the bill that the restaurant charged us for additional spiciness. It was unacceptable & shameful for Thai restaurant. Please stop this.
Reply after owner's answer:
There was no'extra chili' price in the menu & we were not informed about the additional price during the ordering. In addition, there was no bill to confirm before the payment. But that is not really the matter. The important thing is that real Thai restaurants will never charge for the extra chili, because authentic Thai food is considered spicy as default. I just feel that this is not really a Thai restaurant that Thai people should visit.

I ordered the pad Thai, medium spicy. Not only was it delivered quickly, it was freshly made & very tasty. Very generous portion. I plan to try some of their other dishes in the future.
I recently visited Thai Khao San & loved their papaya salad & mango sticky rice! The papaya salad was a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, & spicy, with crisp green papaya & a satisfying crunch from the peanuts. The mango sticky rice was heavenly-soft, sweet rice paired with juicy, ripe mango & creamy coconut drizzle. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. Highly recommend for an authentic Thai dining experience!
Not my favorite Thai experience but also not the absolute worst. I got the pad thai with tofu & the vegetable egg rolls. Starting off with the egg rolls, they were tasty & generously sized, but the ramekin with the chili sauce was half full, so I had to be stingy with dipping for it to be enough for the 4 egg rolls. Very small detail, but I feel like it's not difficult to add another tablespoon of sauce. The tofu with the pad thai was dry & chewy, & while half the tofu was fried, the other half was barely fried (see pictures). Additionally, none of the tofu had any salt or seasoning, so it simply tasted bland. I love fried tofu, so this killed the mood. The pad thai itself was alright. The sauce was actually good, but I'm not sure if they added enough to disperse evenly because there would be many bites that didn't taste like anything & then many bites that tasted flavorful. Lastly, I asked for spicy, & it tasted completely regular. I can't imagine what the difference between what I ate & what mild/regular would be. I was starving, & I'm not anymore, so that's a positive, but I'd search elsewhere if I wanted a more well-rounded pad thai experience (especially if you love tofu).
Most authentic pad thai I've ever had in montreal. The bean sprouts were crunchy & the rice noodles were cooked perfectly. The red curry dish was perfectly spicy with a nice portion of rice.
