They have the best fried rice I've ever had. Their other dishes such as general tao chicken, stuffed tofu or orange beef are also good, but the seafood fried rice is truly the star.
However, they use disposable plastic table cloth, which produces a lot of plastic waste.View more
Legit cantonese restaurant serving as good as hong kong level roast duck & fried rice. Razor clams another highlight, cleaned & steamed wellView more
The beef on rice & assorted meat on rice are delicious.View more
I was in Montreal for work & got takeout from here after a long day. I got the stuffed shrimp with tofu, green peppers & eggplant with rice & it was delicious. Serving size was great & it lasted a couple meals. I also got the pork & century egg congee for breakfast the next day - also delicious with lots of pork & egg. I'm Cantonese/Toishanese & have been eating these dishes throughout my life - & these were great here. Highly recommend this place!View more
I heard lot of good things from this place but unfortunately the average price are around 25$ & the rice is freaking 10$. This is not worth it. Me & my partner took 2 dishes & 2 rice bowl which ended up being 78$. The price isn't but the quantity is. So much better spot than this! the food was not even goodView more
Best chicken fried rice & General Tso's chicken in Chinatown! Fast service & the food is consistent here. Thanks again!View more
I shared Combo H with my friend, & if you don't eat that much, the portion is big enough to feed three people. I personally enjoyed the peanut butter dumplings a lot. The chicken fried rice & stir-fried vegetables were good as well, but the rest of the dishes were just okay. The batter on the General Tao chicken was too thick, & the shrimp had almost no flavor. The wonton soup tasted like it was on the level of frozen food. Overall, considering the price, it's a good spot for saving some moneyView more
Quality Chinese (Cantonese style) food at reasonable prices. The best Chinese food I have had in Montreal's China town. Try the Won Ton soup & Yang-Chow fried rice.View more
The food was flavorful, but the service was not very good. Four dishes + One large bowl of rice were enough for five people. The prices were decent, averaging around 23$ per person.View more
Phenomenal noodles & beef, beef & enoki, & quite good eggplants. The rise is steamed to perfection, nice texture & stickyness, not too sticky not too stiff, not too wet, not too dry. Goldilocks steamed rice 🍚View more
Disappointed & would not recommend. Server spilled hot tea on my wife's phone while she was washing up, food was all served without rice, which wasn't served until we were finished eating. Server was too busy toasting drinks with another table to bother checking on us so water was never refilled. The cook is overworked, he was apparently responsible for cooking & serving all dishes, as well & handling final payment on the table. I didn't leave a tip, he was quite upset & snatched up the fortune cookies that were left on the table & stormed away. Most of the food was pretty good & I would have gladly explained why I didn't tip had I been asked why, instead I felt threatened for not leaving a tip.View more
We ordered a sesame beef plate & it's nothing like a beef plate but more like a fried orange chickens better with barely any beef inside but I feel like it's not their specialty because people had better looking plate than us like vegetables /rice/seafood so just avoid ordering beef.View more
This is one of those restaurants that is a while in the wall. Good food for cheap price. Get the fat noodles, the special fried rice, snow pea veggies & sweet & sour pork. Always freshly madeView more
