They have the best fried rice I've ever had. Their other dishes such as general tao chicken, stuffed tofu or orange beef are also good, but the seafood fried rice is truly the star.

However, they use disposable plastic table cloth, which produces a lot of plastic waste.View more

Keung Kee is an institution. Decades ago this place was know as the best restaurant in Montreal's Chinatown & imo it still is. I've honestly have never had a bad dish here; taste & flavours have always been on point.

I recommend their signature mushroom rolls, razor clams, clams with vermicelli, eggplant, beef hotplate & stir fried noodles for all kinds.View more

Absolutely delicious. I feel like it's authentic as it can get. Service was quick & food came out nice & hot. The salt & pepper pork chops were soooooo delicious. It had the perfect seasoning. I asked for a pan fried noodle thinking it was those crispy noodles & I got more of a chow fun. It's fine cause it was still super good. We came around 4:30 pm. Which was good cause around 5:15 it was getting packed. Not thing I did not like was I was cold lol. I wish the heater worked lol. Overall pretty great & affordable dinner. Each entree was like $12-$14 CAD. Better priced than the US.View more

We ordered fried oysters & they were huge & fried to perfection with the Hong Kong style batter, light & crunchy, very delicious. We also had the stuffed shrimp paste 3 ways with tofu, eggplant & peppers in a black bean sauce. The portion of these dishes were quite substantial & we couldn't finish either. The prices were very reasonable given the quality & serving size. We will definitely be back again when we're in the area. Great experience.View more

I shared Combo H with my friend, & if you don't eat that much, the portion is big enough to feed three people. I personally enjoyed the peanut butter dumplings a lot. The chicken fried rice & stir-fried vegetables were good as well, but the rest of the dishes were just okay. The batter on the General Tao chicken was too thick, & the shrimp had almost no flavor. The wonton soup tasted like it was on the level of frozen food. Overall, considering the price, it's a good spot for saving some moneyView more

Quality Chinese (Cantonese style) food at reasonable prices. The best Chinese food I have had in Montreal's China town. Try the Won Ton soup & Yang-Chow fried rice.View more

This restaurant serves excellent Cantonese cuisine. The quality is just as good as you get in Toronto or Vancouver. We had gai lan choy vegetable, Mei Tsai ko rou, deep fried tofu salt & pepper style. On a previous visit we had excellent clams with black bean sauce, & eggplant-green pepper-tofu stuffed with chopped shrimp. Ambiance is humble, but I would go here for the food, not the surroundings.View more

We love the general tao of the downstairs restaurant, but the porc noodle soup just let us down, a white phosphory broth with no taste, overcooked noodles & fried pork, with a dull taste. Please do better.View more

We ordered a sesame beef plate & it's nothing like a beef plate but more like a fried orange chickens better with barely any beef inside but I feel like it's not their specialty because people had better looking plate than us like vegetables /rice/seafood so just avoid ordering beef.View more

This is one of those restaurants that is a while in the wall. Good food for cheap price. Get the fat noodles, the special fried rice, snow pea veggies & sweet & sour pork. Always freshly madeView more
