I've been a regular customer of Ketiw for a solid bit now & honestly this place never gets old. I particularly love their chicken sandwich but their thai iced tea, pandan green tea, & large selection of soups are all excellent! I would eat here every day if I could.
Taking off one star because I found a piece of hard metal in my soup & when I showed the server she seemed to have no interest in informing the kitchen of a possible hazard & even went as far as suggesting it came off my clothing instead of taking any proper measures to figure out what happened. A bit disappointing to be honest, I could've easily chipped a tooth.View more

Very nice restaurant in a good location. Very good service. Tried the chicken sandwich which was delicious. The beef was unfortunately very chewy which made it not enjoyable, despite having good flavour. The coconut milk noodles had no flavour to speak of. I also did not enjoy the fried roll. I would come back for the sandwich & perhaps to try other itemsView more

Bright & sleek spot for Cambodian eats. The Khuy Teav Phnom Penh rice noodles (either broth in or out) is pretty good. The lemongrass beef sandwich lunch special is really satisfying too. My favorite discovery though was the pandan tea - so warm with that little kick of sweetness.View more

I loved the lemonade, thai iced tea, mushroom sandwich (num pang) & veggie spring roll, mee kola vermicelli noodles with egg. I love that the lemonade came with a paper lid but it seems like they switched to plastic lids now unfortunatelyView more

Really enjoyed the bbq beef sandwich. It's different from the Phnom Penh one (fattier meat, sliced thin & heavily charred on A LOT of butter, with the same pickles), but very good. Meatier.View more

We ordered their num pang sandwiches a spicy bbq pork with pork cake & a lemongrass & galangal beef. They accidentally made my beef sandwich spicy instead of the pork but we were sharing anyways so it was good. The spicy sauce went very well with the beef sandwich & made us wonder if it would elevate the taste of the pork sandwich too. It was a delicious lunch. My husband enjoyed a Thai milk tea while I had their Jasmin & pandan tea. Milk tea was a bit too sweet for taste but my husband liked it just fine. The Jasmine pandan tea was pleasant & mild I enjoyed it very much. Will definitely come back to try other items on their menu.View more

I love a good no fuss restaurant & this place hits the spot every time. The flavours are very reminiscent of my travels to Cambodia with a modernized vibe & great attention to detail. Their ketiw & num pang are my go-to dishes. To be honest, it's a constant dilemma between the two & I get fomo whenever I choose one over the other. I will say, I'm happiest when I order both (with the soup on the side is a must!) Such a great combo! I leave satiated & with half a sandwich for the next day that I look forward to. A staple & a favourite for sure. Great little restaurant, highly recommend.View more

The sandwich was so good that it me cry. Some background: twenty years ago, I spent a wonderful couple of days in New York City, crashing in friends' tiny, tiny apartments, hanging out with good friends & a really sweet guy I'd just started seeing. & man, I'd sure been having some tough times that time of my life, but I remember being incredibly happy for the first time in ages. My friend & I had to split off early, & as we were sitting in a Chinatown bus, waiting to head back to Washington, DC, we both realized we were starving. My buddy bolted off the bus & returned a few minutes later, bearing a nondescript brown paper bag containing 2 sandwiches, which we devoured as the bus drove away from NYC. We weren't sure what the sandwiches actually were when we opened them up. "I saw a line, & the dude at the end said these sandwiches were REALLY GOOD," my friend explained. He was wrong, though: they were extraordinary. I had to research a bit to even find out their name, since bahn mi hadn't really gotten popular at that point. I'd never had anything like it, so crispy-soft-spicy-savoury-sweet. I still love bahn mi, but of course nothing will ever taste quite as good as something special in your memory. Anyway, the Num Pang Beef at Ketiw isn't a bahn mi, but it is extraordinary on its own merits, & is probably the best sandwich I've had in years. I want to name an ingredient that really takes it to the next level-the bread, the meat, even just the veggies, but it's all phenomenal. It *also* reminded me of being young & falling in love, & starting to believe that maybe the world could be full of nice things to discover, instead of a terrible struggle. However, I cannot guarantee that you will experience this last bit (I haven't tried Mom's imperial rolls but the name makes me suspect they could induce a similar experience for certain people). It was probably for the best that we ordered delivery, or I might have burst into tears in public. I asked my husband (of course it's the same dude I had just started dating 20 years ago, still just as sweet) & he assures me that it is, in fact, a really great sandwich on its own merits, even if you don't have a strange Proust-eating-madelines emotional reaction to it. This time around, we split the sandwich, which I guess is only fair, since he missed the last one (HIS OWN FAULT for going to a concert instead of hanging out with his cool new girlfriend). The wonton soup, which I enjoyed in a much more normal way, is really good too.View more

La garniture des sandwichs aux champignons est agréable en bouche. Néanmoins, pour environ 15$ par sandwich, je m'attends à ne pas avoir faim une heure après. Cette option végétarienne ne constitue pas un repas complet. Il est d'ailleurs dommage qu'aucune proposition végétarienne ne soit proposée pour les nouilles. L'offre carnée est bien plus alléchante! They have plenty of great snacks & unique drinks. Several vegan options as well. The local mushroom sandwich is vegan & absolutely delicious! Highly recommend checking this place out. Lovely & delicious. Ordered take out: Soup & sandwich. Everything was delicious & immediately devoured. Love that they have the fried bread as a companion to soup. Après que mon père l'ai découvert par curieux Bégin, on est allé faire un tour en passant dans le coin.
On entre & l'odeur épicée nous emplis immédiatement le nez. Le personnel est accueillant, les portions sont généreuses (on en a eu trop avec un sandwich pour deux!) & les prix sont bons, surtout pour un petit resto montréalais. Nous étions au bar & par moment échangions quelques mots avec les cuisiniers.
Restaurant un peu petit & occupé avec une musique légèrement forte mais en général, super expérience!
Je recommande le thé glacé!
