Great Lebanese food, super tasty especially the kefta karaz. A great place to enjoys lots of food with people. The seating arrangement could be better though, & loud overall.
Delicious lebanese cuisine! I love this place!
The food is delicious, service is good & the interior is very nice, similar to a Lebanese traditional home. Make sure to reserve to secure a spot, & don't miss trying their cheese rolls (rekakat). So yummy!!
Very pleased with the quality & presentation. Service was excellent! Ordered a'Mexican style beer' (Lager served in a cold glass with a rim of salt & lemon juice at the bottom), kebbeh nayyeh (meat tartare), rekakat (cheese rolls, I totally recommend them!), sizzling makanek in pomegranate molasses (sausages), batata (potato) & delicious kefta karaz with fried pita. Recommended portions for 2 people: 3-4 appetizers + 1 main to share.
First time trying Middle Eastern food & wow… it blew me away. 🌙✨ I honestly just want to go back & order the entire menu. Pro tip: make a reservation because it's packed every single day.
The service was quick, & sitting outside with the views & lighting made it even better. I had the Fattet Mawzat , the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the creamy base was rich, & the burst of pomegranate on top tied it all together perfectly.
Definitely coming back for more.
A true Lebanese gem in Montreal. The food is authentic & well prepared, service is fast & proper, & prices are fair relative to both quality & quantity. The restaurant has a nostalgic Lebanese charm that reminds me of back home.
Tables are too many for such a small space. When full, the level of chatter noise is un bearable.
Amazing food , perfect hospitality, very cheap price for the quality
This place is an absolute treat. I visited from out of town & knew I had to have KazaMaza for one of my two dinners in Montreal. The food is well seasoned, big portion sizes, & super affordable for what you get. Our group had two dips - the muhammara & baba ghanouj - which we devoured followed by three mains. One of our mains was kefta remmen, which were meatballs served in pomegranate tahini sauce. The other two were lamb shanks - one served with a yogurt tahini sauce & the other served with smoke whole wheat. A week later & I am still dreaming of this dinner. Thank you KazaMaza for serving a taste of the Levant in the heart of Montreal.
Our recent visit was unfortunately quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we waited a considerable amount of time to be acknowledged & seated, which was not a great start. Things didn't improve much from there; we discovered a hair in one of our water glasses, which was quite off-putting. The service itself was also problematic. Our server seemed incompetent when it came to knowledge about gluten-free options, making it difficult to order safely. To top it off, the restaurant was extremely noisy due to a large group, making it nearly impossible to hear each other or our waiter. This, combined with the unattentive service, made for a very frustrating dining experience. On the positive side, we will say that the food was good, which was at least a redeeming factor. However, the numerous issues with the service & atmosphere significantly detracted from our overall enjoyment. We hope these issues can be addressed for future diners.
Super tasty dishes bursting with flavour. Service was fast & friendly. The atmosphere is lively but on the noisy side.
