Our recent visit was unfortunately quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we waited a considerable amount of time to be acknowledged & seated, which was not a great start. Things didn't improve much from there; we discovered a hair in one of our water glasses, which was quite off-putting. The service itself was also problematic. Our server seemed incompetent when it came to knowledge about gluten-free options, making it difficult to order safely. To top it off, the restaurant was extremely noisy due to a large group, making it nearly impossible to hear each other or our waiter. This, combined with the unattentive service, made for a very frustrating dining experience. On the positive side, we will say that the food was good, which was at least a redeeming factor. However, the numerous issues with the service & atmosphere significantly detracted from our overall enjoyment. We hope these issues can be addressed for future diners.

A Culinary Catastrophe Kaza Maza, Courtesy of the Unheated Pita

Oh, where to begin with this gastronomic travesty? Let's just say the'highlight' of my meal was a profound disappointment so singular, it managed to eclipse any fleeting enjoyment of the otherwise admittedly decent food. & what was this culinary crime, you ask? The pita bread.

Yes, the humble pita. That seemingly innocuous accompaniment, often taken for granted. But here, it was elevated to an art form of neglect. I'm not sure what the establishment was aiming for - perhaps a deconstructed, avant-garde take on'bread from a day-old plastic bag'? Because that's precisely what arrived: a sad, deflated, & decidedly stale disc, still clinging to the cheap plastic in which it presumably suffered its final indignity.

One can only marvel at the sheer audacity. Did they run out of fresh pita? Or was this a deliberate act of sabotage, a test to see how much one could truly tolerate?

As someone who has spent considerable time navigating the culinary landscapes of the Middle East - from the most opulent dining rooms to the most humble street food stalls in Morocco & Egypt - I can attest to one universal truth: you get warm pita bread. Even the cheapest, most unpretentious vendor understands this fundamental concept.

The owners, bless their hearts, must be truly innovative. They've managed to redefine'service' to include an intentional act of pita-paucity. The'wonderful' food became a mere backdrop, a fleeting distraction from the main event: the cold, unyielding monument to their collective oversight. Shame?

Oh, they should be absolutely brimming with it. This wasn't just a misstep; it was a philosophical statement on their disregard for the customer experience. Bravo, truly.

The hummus with lamb & salads were excellent. Sausages & kofte were decent but not something I would come back for. The lamb chops werent too good, chewy fat & overcooked for my taste. Service was very good.

Excellent food, we were well taken care of. Loud during the busy hour yet the food quality overthrows that little detail.
