Sausages & kofte were decent but not something I would come back for. The lamb chops werent too good, chewy fat & overcooked for my taste. Service was very good.
Really nice & cozy atmosphere, extremely quick service, reasonable price for the portions. Best hummus I've ever tried.
Their fattoush was one of the best I've ever had. I didn't even know salad could taste so good. Rakakat were also great. I liked the kafta. The lamb shank was good. Kibbe labniye was not for me. Moubammara was also awesome. My friends really loved the hummus kawarma but I thought it was okay. Very cute decor & I love the coke alternative products they have 🤘🤘🤘
One of the best Lebanese restaurants in town. Food was great especially Riach, grilled chicken, hummus & baba Ganouj, the service is great & the staff are very friendly. Cozy place & nice ambience
Tried a lot of new items, everything was delicious. My favourites were the salad, hummus, & lamb shank. Table fav was the bbq shrimp! Everyone liked the fried cheese too , but it was very salty
If you were a foodie who love try amazing food, here will have an excellent experience with Middle-Eastern cuisine. Had hummus, Fattouche ,keftas & FATTET MAKDOUS. Pretty much love all the dishes:) worth to try
It was a greatly authentic food with very kind staff. I had a fantastic experience & recommend the experience. Mouhammara, shawarma hummus, kofta kebab & lamb shank were great !! Ahmed who served us was great!!
Delicious food! All the basics done to perfection - probably the best hummus I've ever had.
A true gem in the heart of Montreal. I feel like this place isn't raved about enough! Incredible isn't even the word to describe the quality of the menu, its flavours, its dishes- everything. I travel often to the Middle East & this is the closest thing to that. Hate to say it... it's even better!!!!!!!! I would give this place a 12/10. An absolute MUST-GO if you want to experience true high quality middle eastern dishes. Try the lamb hummus, the kibbeh & the Kefta Karaz. Literally there's nothing like it. We were 4 & the bill was 200$ & we ate literally everything!!!!!
Going to eat there makes you feel like you are invited in someone's house to have dinner. I loved the atmosphere & energy of the restaurant, it was cozy & homy. I ordered the mawzat friki (see picture) for my main dish which I loved! Also, ordered the hummus & babaghanouj for appetizers which i also highly recommend!
This is our first visit to this restaurant, party of 5.. Dishes we tried: moutabbal, hummus with meat, nakanek, aries, tabbouleh, grilled chicken, fatteh, grilled kafta, & kafta with tahini. I have to admit, we were pleasently surprised with the food. It gets 9/10, & that is the highest I ever rated. Rice with kardamom was excellent so are all the other dishes. I would recommend to anyone who has good taste palette. Just make sure you booked a day or two in advance. Prices can be better though. But not overly priced for the quality.
Overall very content. One of the best hummuses out there, perfect texture & flavor. The raqaqat were perfect. The kefta méchoui nicely spiced & cooked. My fish may have seemed bland bc of too much vegetable & spice blend. The service was wonderful, we felt right at home.
Very good food. The fattouche salad has to be one of the best things I have ever eaten. The lamb was not good. But the hummus was flamboyant & out of this world. It is also EXTREMELY expensive. Since I can't give them a number rating, I am giving them a 93/100.
Was disappointed with this restaurant. The baba ghanoush was overpoweringly smokey - it's all we could taste, the minced lamb in the hummus was grisly & greasy & yet the meat was still dry & not well seasoned - just tasted gamey. The hummus itself tasted only of tahini, & the meat/Kefta Koraz was also dry. The fattoush was good but not great - too much pomegranate molasses & not enough lemon or fresh parsley/mint to be great. The baklava was maybe the best part but very small. Will not go back - the takeout counter at Adonis is far better...
I love KazaMaza! I come here each time I'm in Montreal & the food is incredible. I came alone this time (work trip) but was seated & treated nicely. I always get the fattoush salad (which even tastes good in the winter despite tomato's being out of season), the babagonoush (sometimes I get hummus) & the the kefta mechoui which is served with rice & is incredible! The service here has never been over the top impressive but it's certainly not bad. They aren't pushy & serve you what you want in a reasonable time frame. I would always recommend coming here!
Possibly the best middle Eastern restaurant I've been to, everything was unbelievably good. The hummus & beer tartare especially were incredible, so flavourful
