About

Kazamaza centers its culinary identity on authentic Syrian and Lebanese traditions, emphasizing shared plates and bold, aromatic flavor profiles. The menu features a diverse selection of mezze, including smooth chickpea purées, smoky charred eggplant preparations, and vibrant herb-heavy salads. Grilled meat skewers serve as a cornerstone of the offerings, seasoned with regional spice blends and prepared over open flames. The interior design reflects an approachable, bustling atmosphere designed to accommodate social gatherings of various sizes. Fresh pita bread complements every dish, arriving warm and pillowy to facilitate traditional dipping techniques. This establishment maintains a focus on consistent execution of classic Middle Eastern recipes that prioritize quality ingredients. Diners find a straightforward presentation that highlights the complex textures and zesty lemon or garlic notes inherent in this specific regional cooking style.

Like many previously good Montreal spots, this place nowadays is a garbage dump in service, food & the whole atmosphere. I came here to warn folks about the plunge of this place, but clearly the recent comments are showing it. Do yourself a favour & eat literally anywhere else with the same price tag. This place is not worth the price anymore.

The food was really bad (fried cheese sticks were the only good thing, because they were fried). Fattoush salad had off-color lettuce, kebbeh was bland. Arayes were cold.

Staff forgot the rest of the order for a whole hour, when we asked about the food, they lied & said it's being prepared. After another 10 minutes waiting (now 70 minutes total) we went to the order bar & indeed the order was just placed. They brought the rest of the food quickly (lamb shank was not reheated lol). We of course asked for the bill at this point & told them we will not eat cold lamb shank. Manager said a passive-aggressive sorry.

Manager apparently scolded the server, who came with a bill to make us pay for the appetizer, & AFTER we paid the server suddenly started shouting as we left quietly. Disgusting attitude with no good food, that's just a garbage bin of a place now. Stay away.

Delicious food. The lamb shank dishes are amazing & the lamb simply falls off the bone. I did find the pita bead in the arrayes kefta to be a bit more burnt than necessary however.

We had a wonderful experience! The food was so flavourful, service was fantastic (shout out to our lovely waitresses tonight) & atmosphere was energetic. Our favourite dish was the lamb shank, the grilled shrimp was also fantastic! Thank you 🙏

Nice restaurant with a lovely variety of choices. The main dishes were great, with delicious lamb & flavourful sauces ( mawzats & keftas ). We appreciated the cocktail list as well as the choices offered with Arak liquor. Our server was helpful & patient. Nice interior. We wished our pita came hot & fresh with the different dips offered as appetizers. Balaklava was however on the dryer & colder side.

Excellent, amazing delicious food! The flavors are rich & layered, it's really an experience for the palate. We kept saying « Humm that's so good » for everything we tasted! I especially recommend the M'HALABIÉ, it's a light texture rich in flavors, orange blossom, pistachios & rose jam on the top! The ambiance was really nice too! It was cozy & chic, with beautiful oriental lamps & music! I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends!

**Kaza Maza is one of those rare Lebanese restaurants that never disappoints. I've known this place for a long time, & the quality has remained consistently excellent over the years. The food is authentic, fresh, & truly great value for the price.

What really sets Kaza Maza apart is the owner, Fady. He is an absolutely magnificent person-very welcoming, incredibly generous, & always personally taking care of his clients. You can genuinely feel the passion & love he puts into this restaurant.

The ambiance is amazing, with beautiful Lebanese music that makes you feel right at home. It's a true Lebanese atmosphere where you see people from all nationalities coming together to enjoy great food & a warm experience.

Kaza Maza is not just a restaurant, it's a place you keep coming back to.**
