**Kaza Maza is one of those rare Lebanese restaurants that never disappoints. I've known this place for a long time, & the quality has remained consistently excellent over the years. The food is authentic, fresh, & truly great value for the price.
What really sets Kaza Maza apart is the owner, Fady. He is an absolutely magnificent person-very welcoming, incredibly generous, & always personally taking care of his clients. You can genuinely feel the passion & love he puts into this restaurant.
The ambiance is amazing, with beautiful Lebanese music that makes you feel right at home. It's a true Lebanese atmosphere where you see people from all nationalities coming together to enjoy great food & a warm experience.
Kaza Maza is not just a restaurant, it's a place you keep coming back to.**
Repas copieux & tres bons
Libanais authentique .. personnel tres acceuillant .. ambiance familale
Patron au petit soins des clients
4 étoiles pour l'ambiance car l'endroit est un peu bruyant quand très fréquenté comme c'était le cas.
This place is an absolute treat. I visited from out of town & knew I had to have KazaMaza for one of my two dinners in Montreal. The food is well seasoned, big portion sizes, & super affordable for what you get. Our group had two dips - the muhammara & baba ghanouj - which we devoured followed by three mains. One of our mains was kefta remmen, which were meatballs served in pomegranate tahini sauce. The other two were lamb shanks - one served with a yogurt tahini sauce & the other served with smoke whole wheat. A week later & I am still dreaming of this dinner. Thank you KazaMaza for serving a taste of the Levant in the heart of Montreal.
The hummus with lamb & salads were excellent. Sausages & kofte were decent but not something I would come back for. The lamb chops werent too good, chewy fat & overcooked for my taste. Service was very good.
We decided to go small plates / entres instead of getting main courses. Everything was tasty & reminded me of dining in a good Lebanese restaurant in the Middle East. Wish they allowed to order one lamp chop as listed on the menu instead of insisting minimum 2 (kinda deceiving- they should just change the menu to list 2 chops instead of singular).
Waiter is from France/ Algeria. We paid a nice tip for his friendly & attentive service. Great ambience.
Their fattoush was one of the best I've ever had. I didn't even know salad could taste so good. Rakakat were also great. I liked the kafta. The lamb shank was good. Kibbe labniye was not for me. Moubammara was also awesome. My friends really loved the hummus kawarma but I thought it was okay. Very cute decor & I love the coke alternative products they have 🤘🤘🤘
Overall we had a lovely dinner here. The place was intimate & charming. Although I thought the tables were a bit too close to each other. We started with the fattouche salad & the baba ghanoush which were both solid options. For our mains we got the lamb shank (fattet mawzat) & the kefta karaz. The lamb shank was our favourite dish as it was fall off the bone & the yogurt sauce complimented it nicely. The kefta karaz was good but reminded me of ikea meatballs since the cranberry sauce reminded of the lingonberry jam. It was still very good but not our fave. The portions were generous & the price was very affordable. All dishes were delicious but nothing blew me away. Would definitely come back though!
Excellent resto!
One of the best Lebanese restaurants in town. Food was great especially Riach, grilled chicken, hummus & baba Ganouj, the service is great & the staff are very friendly. Cozy place & nice ambience
Tried a lot of new items, everything was delicious. My favourites were the salad, hummus, & lamb shank. Table fav was the bbq shrimp! Everyone liked the fried cheese too , but it was very salty
One of my favourite middle eastern restaurants in the city. I recommend all my friends to eat here. My favourite dish was the lamb, tahini sauce with the rice. I still dream about that dish. Price for the dishes were reasonable. Service was very good & fast. Highly recommend if you love middle eastern food or you're just looking for something different to try.
