I had a great lunch at Katsuya today. The interior is very clean & modern which makes for a pleasant dining environment. The lunch special was a great deal & the food came out piping hot just a few minutes after we ordered. The sauce that comes with the katsu is delicious & complements the meal perfectly. I appreciate the consistency here because I have been twice now & both times were excellent.

Honestly one of the better katsu spots I have been to in Montreal. The breading is nice & thin & the meat is tender. It is not an overly complicated menu which I appreciate because it shows they focus on doing a few things really well. The service was efficient even though the place was quite busy. If you are craving some good Japanese food in the city center this is definitely a place you should keep on your radar.

Everything about my experience at Katsuya was top notch. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly & seated quickly. The katsu was light & not greasy at all which is a huge plus. We also ordered a few sides & they were all seasoned perfectly. It is rare to find a spot that balances quality food with such a relaxed vibe. I am already planning my next trip back to try the chicken katsu next time.

This place is a hidden gem for anyone who loves authentic Japanese comfort food. The portion sizes are very generous for the price point & you can tell they use fresh ingredients. I tried the classic pork katsu & it was cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly & made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It is a great addition to the neighborhood & I highly recommend checking it out.

I visited Katsuya Montreal last night & was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. The katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining incredibly juicy on the inside. The service was attentive without being overbearing & the atmosphere was cozy enough for a nice date night. I will definitely be returning here soon to try some of the other dishes on the menu as everything looked fantastic.

It hits the spot whenever i do crave for katsu. I wouldnt say it's best katsu i ever had but it hits the spots if that makes sense. The service can be slow sometimes depending when go to eat. But the staff is very friendly!
