On est venu vers 17h un mercredi & c'était plein de monde! Notre serveuse était très attentionnée & nous a bien servi, surtout pour aider les enfants. Nous avons pris trois plats & j'ai été étonné des grosses portions! Tous les plats étaient bons & ma fille a vraiment aimé manger, elle veut revenir déjà lol
Really nice & great service! You get free rice refills on the side which is amazing for people who take big bites of rice with their dish. The chicken was very good & large portions made me very full! Definitely recommend.

If you're missing Japan like I am, this is the best place for a Katsu meal. Their mozzarella katsu is rich & flavorful. The red carbonara hit the spot, as did their regular carbonara katsu. I will definitely come back for more!
First time trying at Katsuya, & I loved it. I ordered a Udon Carbonara & it was delicious💖 The rice, the soup & the salad are refillable, which is amazing.

First time here with the missus, I tried the Terri Mayo Katsu which is basically a katsu with the toppings that come with takoyaki (sweet bbq sauce, mayo & dry fish flakes). They gave us some cold entrees & soup (refillable) to start which was pretty good. The Katsu itself was really tasty. The place is a bit cramped when it gets busy, there are a ton of small tables for 2 & they're all kinda crammed together in the middle. At least that's how it was for dinner, might be different for lunchtime. All in all, pretty good. Thanks Katsuya MTL
The food was sooo good & the PORTIONS so BIG everything is great the miso soup is very balanced & I totally recommend the cheese crabmeat croquette SO YUMMY! 5/5 will come again also perfect for friend groups to share

Not too busy on a thursdsy evening. the room ambiance is not too loud but not too quiet. it is perfect location for catching up or just enjoy each other presence. service was exceptional. the two lady server were really kind & patient today. they were always ready to help customers. me & my partner took udons & it might be the best thing out of the menu imo. so tasty with so much ingredient. it's far from bland. & the best thing that i would recommend for everyone if they pass by would be teriyaki, SO SO SO yummy, the best in montreal! crunchy & flavoury in every single corner.
