4.5⭐️ because the food was salty. FOOD: creative, very delicious, but salty. • Bone Marrow Custart: so cream, the bone marrow is mixed with egg & cream & turned into something like a savory pudding. The creamy tomato sauce & croutons balance out the rich flavor. 100/10 • Duck platter: I love how they have all the heart, liver & kidney. The meat was tender, gravy is super tasty, if it was less salty I'd really love this restaurant. SERVICE: Amazing, as soon as my plate is cleared out, 2 seconds later another waiter saw it & bring me new plates & cutlery. The place is extremely busy til midnight. Although I had reservation I still have to wait about 30 minutes. They're super busy but they managed to do the service really really well. VIBE: very small place, it's impossible to walk in without reservation. It's an old house with some weird decorations, I got scared with the giant bull head in the washroom.

Probably one of my all time favorite dining experiences - it starts with the staff (especially at the bar) who are so friendly & fun to interact with, down to the range of indulgent food from the cold bar down to the lobster spaghetti! Drinks don't stop pouring & they're exquisite, & don't get me started on the desserts abound here! Definitely hope to come back in the future!
Never had something at Joe Beef that didn't absolutely exceed my expectations. Even something as simple as bread service is mind blowing. By far my favorite restaurant. (Get sweetbreads & bone marrow)
Outstanding service & food that will move you. Each dish was perfectly balanced & expertly portioned. A must visit once in your life. Make sure you try the almond cake for dessert. Very allergy conscious & well educated staff.
Amazing staff that are very attentive, even though the place is super busy all the time. Food is flawless, I would definitely recommend making resos well ahead of time.
Joe Beef is legendary. It lives up to the legend. Every course we had supplanted it's predecessor as Our Favorite Thing. The menu changes nightly, so commenting on a specific dish would be unhelpful. On any given night you can try any menu item, & are virtually guaranteed to be blown away.

We loved the lobster spaghetti super creamy & portion is generous. For the duck dish to share, the meat was perfect cooked but the sauce is a bit too salty, we couldn't taste & sweetness & sourness from the plum sauce.
Joe beef is a legacy culinary experience. Service is top tier every time & tonight Julian killed it ! This place represents Montreal with a classic culinary touch. Cheers .

All-In experience of a super enhanced Diner experience. The W wine list is vast, the staff has been guiding us through it in full confidence. All Shared - smoked salmon on a pumped bagel & cream cheese, Beef tartare then Steak & Chicken breast. All of this finishing on a massive crêpe wrapping a brick of delicious vanilla ice cream. SQDC Suggestion: Tangerine Dream - perfect friend & munchies activator for the experience.
Great good. We had the steak, oysters, clams, lobster spaghetti & the bloody ceasars....all items were top notch. The staff was great & friendly while service was fast. Prices are a bit on the higher side but well worth it & reasonable. Definitely would recommend. 10/10.
Didn't really find the steak outstanding, no one really checked in on me either until the end. As much as I wanted to love it, I can't say I did. I asked beside me to see if it was just me who found the service lacking, but they agreed with me as well. Fries were phenomenal though.

Was just ok, I used to enjoy this place a lot more when the objective was not just to get you in, fed & out the door for the next table. Not a relaxing place to enjoy your time pacing yourself & really savouring a quality meal with your dining partner(s). Yes the service is very attentive, mostly so that you never have to wait for anything, glasses are never allowed to get empty & yes food is good & the crudo's are always something I have, but the overall experience has changed in my opinion not for the better with the success of the chain.
I have been wanting to attend for years, it was worth the wait. Certainly a very special place to visit, the service was absolutely incredible I felt like a VIP. The vibe was amazing, he food was incredible. We got a number of raw bar dishes & a bunch of the specials, everything was the best thing ever. The bread service is not to be missed, & the oysters were maybe the best I have ever had. I look forward to going again for another extremely special meal.
