We made a late reservation because it's what was available & it was worth waiting all day for this meal. Wonderful menu. Had the best dirty martini of our whole trip! Server was lovely & we had the best time chatting with them about how much we love the city. We will definitely come back to Joe Beef our next trip to Montreal.

The food was exceptional, EVERY bite was heavenly & you can tell that a lot of love, thought & great cooking is put into every dish served. BUT the real star was our server Kalina (forgive me if I spelled this wrong) she has curly hair, & adorable accent & she made sure every moment in there, we felt special, attended to, & heard. Kalina, you will remember us, the ladies toasting to Taylor Swift, & we love you!

We came here for our one year wedding Anniversary & I really wanted to love this place, however it didn't live up to the hype.

The service I felt was very inconsistent, the main server was okay, very slow but better. We had a few other people that tended to us that barely answered when we said thank you.

Food took forever, almost 90 minutes from the time we ordered, our server checked on us once to tell us'its coming soon'.

We order the bread & pickles which was fine, the roman gnocchi which was good, the hanger steak which needed more seasoning & the $71 Lobster spaghetti which was not at all worth the price. I found most of the food lacked basic seasoning which should have not been the case given the price & time it took to cook.

Dessert was truly the highlight, we did the chocolate mousse which was amazing, I will say.

Otherwise, this was a disappointing visit, I will also say it was so hot in there, I hope they can take a look & refine some things because it seems there is a level of inconsistently in the food.

nice vibes but taste was not for me :(

like look at the fries!! there was another review just a few months ago that said the fries were amazing & the picture did look amazing but the fries we got were NOT that like they look so so so sad srsly.

nothing rly wowed me but best dishes for me were the duck breast & the marjolaine!

From Ontario. We dine a lot at High end & Not your average restaurants. We also work at a high end steakhouse where we live
Came here based on recommendation. Don't know why it was so highly recommended. Place was clean & packed. Just confused as to why.

First. Hostess was sweet. So thank you for that.

Menu was alright.. was looking forward to the rib eye. Honestly. That was basic. Don't know if there's salt or seasoning anywhere in that building.
The crab feature... not good.
Bone marrow, boring.
Birthday was never recognized even though it was mentioned in the reservation.
Now, the waiter... julien, I hope you tip out your food runners & bussers considerably because they deserve it more than you. You were arrogant & need a lesson on being a server. Your shirt was just as lame as your attitude.
