Excellente nourriture mais un peu plus d'aliments dans l'assiette vous aurait donné un 5 sur 5…. Surtout pour le prix payé.

Très bonne découverte.
Depuis 9 ans que nous venons à Montréal plusieurs fois par an, sans aucun doute le meilleur brunch que nous connaissons.

1 big pieces of bread+ mushrooms saute, 2 eggs . No veggie or fruits, coffee is not included.The foods is just ok , are you ready to pay 28$ + tx + 18% service charge.

We just left there. I had grilled cheese with duck, oj & brioche cinnamon.
The sammy was on a blueish color bread lol which was different. The sandwhich was really good, crispy, a bit sweet a bit salty. It was very good. The potatoes were also good, butter steak spices & potato. Cant go wrong.
The cinnamon brioche was so softy fluffly & tasty. Really enjoyed the meal & the service was great.
My son had the latkes & said they were very tasty. Btw the carrot cake is absolutely huge. I really liked the carrot cake my son said its good but he had better.

Le restaurant était excellent. Nous y sommes allés un mardi pour le brunch, sur la recommandation d'une amie. Le menu est varié & les plats étaient délicieux. Le personnel était poli, accueillant & attentionné. À mon avis, le restaurant était très fréquenté, toutes les tables étaient occupées, mais nous n'avons pas eu à attendre pour être installés.

It was a great restaurant. We went there for brunch on a Tuesday based on a friend's recommendation. The menu was diverse, & the food was delicious. The staff were polite, kind, & welcoming. In my opinion, the restaurant was quite busy?all the tables were occupied?but we didn't have to wait to be seated.

We stopped by Janine Café in Verdun for brunch, & it turned out to be one of the best café experiences we've had in Montreal.

The food was beautifully presented, but what really impressed me was the quality of the sauces. Every dish was well balanced, rich without being too heavy, & the sauces elevated the entire meal. You can tell the kitchen pays attention to the small details.

The service was exceptional. Our server Mr. Hamza was genuinely warm, attentive, & thoughtful throughout the meal. My daughter ordered a burger, & before it arrived, he politely asked if she planned to eat it with her hands. After she said yes, he immediately brought over extra napkins without us even asking. It's such a small gesture, but it shows how much they care about the customer experience.

Another thoughtful touch: I noticed a lady at the next table with a small handbag & nowhere to put it. The staff brought over a small handbag stand so she didn't have to leave it on the floor. They also checked on every table more than once to make sure everyone was enjoying their meal, without ever being intrusive.

Great food, beautiful presentation, outstanding sauces, & service that truly goes above & beyond. Janine Café absolutely deserves its excellent reputation. I'll definitely be back & would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable brunch in Verdun.
