If you're a fan of savory brunch, this spot is a must-try. We ordered a mix of dishes & everything hit. The eggs were perfectly cooked with that ideal yolk, adding richness to every bite. The fried chicken sandwich was a standout - crispy, flavorful, & finished with the perfect spice kick.
The pulled pork dish really surprised us with its balance of sweet & salty, making it both comforting & unique. & the scotch eggs were cooked perfectly, with a crisp exterior & a soft, jammy center.
Everything felt thoughtfully made & well executed. A great spot for a satisfying, elevated brunch experience.

Got the Champi with scotch egg which was good. The scotch egg is covered in chorizo which gives it more flavour than normal scotch eggs. The Champi was good as well but it is essentially just cheese toast with some sautéed mushrooms & pepper sauce. They also had a Cabane a sucre dish on the menu for the season which was good but not amazing. Overall, a Pretty good breakfast but it is still just a breakfast place. The juice shots were also quite good. I would get a juice next time.
Amazing food & great service! We went on a Thursday morning & made a reservation beforehand just in case as it gets very busy during the weekend & everything went smoothly. I'm definitely going back! The sucre à la cream with my Sucré Salé dish was DELICIOUS!
We had a slow morning today… after a party night. We reached to that point of hunger where you know you need something good. This restaurant covered that just fine. The line was long but the amount of tables & the fast service make it move fast. We checked instagram to order & it was a great choice. I'm leaving some pictures of what we ordered. Great choice. Thanks for this amazing comfort food. 🥘
Que c'est bon !!! Cette fois-ci, nous avons essayé le Doré aux petits fruits & le Pain courgettes. C'était la première fois chez Janine, même excellent service que chez Régine. Décor aussi chaleureux & belle ambiance.
We had a really lovely brunch at Cafe Janine with the family. The seating area was comfortable & the atmosphere felt warm & relaxed, which made it easy to enjoy our time together.
The food was delicious & clearly well prepared, & the staff were kind & attentive throughout our visit.
Overall, it was a great experience & we'd definitely recommend it.
Had Champi, eggs, mushrooms on a bread with cheese, mashed potatoes, yummy, with pear blueberry mimosa 😋🤠 great service, liked the decor🤩

Nous rendons visite régulièrement à ce charmant restaurant. Le préféré de certains membres de ma famille. Ils offrent un menu unique très bien présenté servi par des serveurs très compétents & attentionés. Ma conjointe a pris l'assiette spéciale érable qui comprend un jambon absolument succulent, des petites crêpes, des oreilles de crisse, du sirop d'érable, des cretons & du pain de ménage ! Une vraie assiette brunch où tout était excellent.
Ils offrent un menu unique & l'ambiance est vraiment très joyeuse.
Toute la famille semblait très satisfaite de leurs choix. Rapport qualité prix honnête.
Nous y retournerons certainement.

I tried the CHAMPI… 🍄🥪, & it was delicious! 😋 The mushrooms 🍄, toast 🍞, & sauce 🥣 were amazing 😍. I'm not usually a fan of the eggs 🥚, but I tried them & they tasted good 👍.
The mashed potatoes 🥔 were good, but they would've been perfect 😋 with a bit of butter 🧈, pepper 🌶?, & a little more milk 🥛. They were a bit dry 😅-would be so much tastier!
The cappuccino ☕ was okay, the grapefruit juice 🍊 was fine, but the service 👩?🍳 & the ambiance 🎶 were really great.
Overall, 10/10 💯, definitely worth five stars ⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?!
C'est pour le moment le meilleur brunch que j'ai pu faire à Montréal !!! Le'Sucré salé' est un mélange parfait pour les personnes qui sont indécises ! Ce plat est vraiment savoureux & les portions sont généreuses : je recommande à 100% !
Il y avait la queue quand nous sommes venus & un peu d'attente mais ça en valait vraiment la peine. De plus le service était vraiment impeccable & nous avons eu nos plats rapidement.
J'adore ce restaurant, tellement délicieux, le tout est toujours parfait, service, ambiance, repas.. Je comprend pourquoi il y a toujours une ligne d'attente à l'extérieur. Ça vaux la peine d'y mettre les pieds. Le restaurant a son propre style.
Le latkes est un de mes favoris. Les ingrédients sont parfait en bouche. Ca fait quelques fois que j'y vais maintenant & j'y retournerai pour sure. Sérieusement, chaque assiette est succulente.
Les employés sont sympathiques & courtois. Ils nous font déguster un mini verre de leur breuvage maison fait de fruit, légume…

Nous n'avions pas de réservatio mais des tables étaient disponibles.
Avons pris Assiette Gros Jambon & Sandwich poulet frit. Poulet trop cuit & difficile a couper mais somme toute bon. Portions très généreuses. Excellent service +++ de notre serveuse.
Musique d'ambiance soft jazz, agréable.
Environnement très bruyant entre les conversations clients, la musique, le service, etc...
Excellent rapport qualité-prix.
