Food is terrible to ok.
Service is a foreign word to Jacopo staff.
Ambiance is more tavern & not the good kind.
Honestly, after the terrible to ok food & absent service, I have to question all of the positive reviews they have received. Maybe some are fake reviews?Voir plus

My husband & I were on a little weekend getaway & this was our first time going to Jacopo, the food was amazing & we had the nicest & most wonderful server. Her name was Aurelia, my husband was uncertain about what to have for dinner & he summed up what he liked, her recommendation was perfect & of course her recommendation for dessert was a perfect end to our evening.

Great place in Old Quebec (Place Jacques-Cartier). I ordered the chicken, it was not a good choice (This is just my opinion), but the tomato salad, fried calamari, the beef carpaccio, & everything else we ordered was great. Otherwise the our service was one of the best we ever had. Highly recommend this place.Voir plus

Nice decor, good cocktails & tasty appetizers. Mains were not great for the price. Severely understaffed & took almost an hour to get our drink orders in & never asked if we wanted another drink & also took the menus. For the total price per person, absolutely will not go back.Voir plus

We came for mother's day & they had a limited menu, fine, but then they ran out of the salmon option, pasta was very mediocre & the beef chops were stringy. The appetizers were good but the main dishes we could've honestly made better at home. Regretted not stopping by a different Italian restaurant. Won't come back.Voir plus

I came here last night for dinner & was extremely disappointed with the service.
I ordered a passion fruit martini, 40 minutes later, the waitress brings me a clear coloured martini. I asked her if it was a passion fruit martini (which are normally more orangey looking), she says'no, we ran out of passion fruit so I brought you a lychee one'. I told her I didn't like lychee & won't drink it , to which she responds'just try it' & then walks away. I did not drink my drink & was charged $17 for something I did not order & said I didn't want. To add, the food was mediocre & overpriced. Would not recommend at all.Voir plus

Aurelia, our server, the ambiance of the square, was only rivalled by our excellent meal! Highly recommend. We sat outside on the terrace & had the grilled calamari, tomato salad, seafood pasta & more…all amazing suggestions by our server. Would go again!Voir plus
