La nourriture est excellente & j'ai manger le smash burger wow !!,la poutine ,le brisket,le mac n cheese,les ailes de poulet piquantes vraiment toute était excellent ,Le restaurant était pas mal bondé pour un mercredi & l'ambiance y était excellent avec le groupe de musique qui était vraiment talentueux mais par dessus tout le service a été impeccables ,pas d'erreur de commande etc… je vous recommande ce restaurant pour une expérience parfaite des états du sud américains
The food is really good, tasty, & not expensive. You can sit inside with music & dancing or go outside to enjoy the weather. I suggest trying the brisket, smash burger, & poutine because they are generous with their portions, it's definitely worth it.
Their pricing for the meats does seem expensive. I had the brisket poutine which was a compromise. My friend had the brisket nachos which had very meat on it.
Short UPDATE OCTOBER 2024 Went back to this great spot. Always fun always great atmosphere but Music is way way too loud. Still cannot have a conversation with anyone because the music is blasting so loud it is actually not enjoyable. Food wise it's still great but Brisket still has not been mastered, A little dry. I've been here about 7 or 8 times & the brisket tastes good but it is always dry. Needs improvement. Ribs were good especially since there was no sweet sauce on them this time. Turkey is very good. Porc belly always awesome. Sides are good too. All in all still a great place but gotta improve that brisket & lower the sound a bit! UPDATED NOVEMBER 2023 Still one of my favorite spots on the north shore but i must say they really still need to work on a few things. It was my 6th time here since the opening & i have to say that not once has the brisket been very good & this last time it was extremely dry & flavorless. Really need to work on the Brisk. They had no more porc Belly left at 8 oclock. C'mon guys. Everytime we go theres a meat missing. It's a saturday night. Porc Belly is probably the cheapest & most popular meat there. Just make more....ITS A FULL HOUSE SATURDAY NIGHT! Ribs are okay at best, way too salty though. Smash Burger always EXCELLENT. Sides were great also including poutine & Mac & Cheese. Sausage was forgettable. Service also needs work. But its a packed house & they are probably short staffed so i'll give them some slack there All to say brought down the rating because what should be the stars of the show don't seem to be the stars of the show anymore. It's more about the sides & burgers Notes for Brisket: Maybe cook it to 165 then wrap it till 200 with tallow (optional) & let rest as long as possible (even up to 12 hours) in a low oven till you need to serve it. Brisket should be nice & juicy not tough & dry. Maybe the brisket has some parts that are dryer than others if it is not well squared before cooking. Thats normal. But maybe dont serve it. It's not enjoyable when you're paying 45$/lb _____________________________________________________________ The food is quite good. For a smokehouse in Montreal, it's probably one of the best alongside Lattuca BBQ & Blackstrap BBQ. I still think Blackstrap & Lattuca have this place Beat but if you are from the north shore you don't have to drive too far & it's very convenient. It is miles above & beyond any other "smokehouse" you can get on the north shore like RUBS (worst excuse for a BBQ i've ever seen) or Le Baril. It is a new place, it will get better with time i believe. One thing that needs to change is the service. The waiters are not trained. They do not know the menu & they are not very professional/inexperienced. Service & Employees need a serious wake up call. As for the Food, the brisket & Ribs were very tender & the spices just right. I would lay off the sweetness & sweet sauces on the outer layer & just showcase the meat & bark on those bad boys but that is just personal preference. Fries are alright. nothing special but the Fitos-chili was scumptuous. Brisket Poutine is also quite nice. Try the Smash Burgers. They are worth it. One negative...WAY TOO LOUD! its crazy. Please turn it down a little. You cant talk to people or hear anything. I almost went deaf. Give the place a shot. They're working hard trying to make it work & i'm sure they will. Great Spot ! Commençons par le principal : BOUFFE Moi & mes amis sont pris le plateau ranch & avons pu goûter a presque tous le menu du coup. Voici ce que j'en pense (je suis cuisinier & boucher) Porc effiloché : amazing Côtes levées: les meilleures j'ai mangé a vie Brisket: super tendre & juteux mais beaucoup trop salé Dinde: sec mais savoureux Pork belly: gras, tendre & plein de saveur Poutine incroyable. La portion de nacho est exagérément trop généreuse. Le bacon autour des Twinkies est over seasoned, mais le jalapeno lui même est excellent. Pour une première expérience avec des viandes cuites au smoker, je donne une note globale de 9.4/10. Bien que je suis 0 fan de country, l'ambiance était fun. Ça donnait envie de prendre du bon whisky & des tequila. Malgré que les barmaids étaient Nice & on offert un beau service, les cocktails sont selon moi le point faible du restaurant. Un mot décrivant mon souper à ce resto ce soir : WOW !!! J'ai adoré la poutine pork belly ! Mes parents avaient commandé un plateau à partager, donc j'ai pu goûter à d'autres viandes. J'ai eu un gros coup de coeur pour le brisket & les côtes levées ! Le service fut excellent.
La nourriture était exceptionnellement bonne & à bon prix (essayez la poutine porkbelly, c'est un must). L'ambience était hors de l'ordinaire, pas quelquechose qu'on voit souvent. Très rafraîchissant (bonne musique, décors hors du commun, belle installation). Le staff était plus que courtois. Du monde très embelli dans leur rôle qui s'assuraient que notre expérience demeure top notch (leur chapeaux de cowboy sont insanes). Le service était particulièrement rapide toute la soirée malgré l'achalandage. All in all vraiment un restaurant extraordinaire qui mérite entièrement le détour. À essayer au moins une fois dans votre vie!
I went on a Saturday night without a reservation. We sat at the bar first to wait for a table outside since the inside was already reserved. The service by Claudie was amazing, super fast with the drinks & food. The country music was a plus, after we sat outside to eat & the line dance started, it was super fun. Next time I would make a reservation. The food was good, I had a brisket poutine (the brisket was a bit cold but the hot sauce went well so it didn't ruin my experience)
Sérieusement, le service a été excellent de la porte jusqu'à la table. Tout le monde est de bonne humeur & accueillant. Merci d'avoir pris le temps d'expliquer le concept du menu (idéal pour partager des gros plats à $49 par personne, sinon tout est à la carte avec choix d'accompagnement). Les drinks sont très variés avec un gros buck & tu peux partir avec. Facile pour réserver aussi. Le smash burger avec fromage & bacon était si délicieux (poutine classique en accompagnement). Le brisket était excellent aussi. Mention spéciale pour notre serveuse Maude - très gentille.
